Escape to Adelaide Hills ~ Nature's Den #2 (of 4)

RenaeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My husband and I just spent a weekend at Nature’s Den in Mount George and it was absolute bliss. The outlook from the den is five stars — peaceful, private, and breathtaking. We woke up one morning to find a kangaroo feeding and relaxing just a few metres from our bed, and got to watch him while sipping our morning coffee. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, with a comfy bed and a handy little kitchenette. It felt like a true escape, yet still so close to the CBD. A perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

Little Bunyip Studio

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful weekend at Little Bunyip Studio and everything we needed was available. It was perfectly clean, and although the toilet was not something we've used before, we were pleasantly surprised how well it worked. There was a good supply of firewood which was great as it was an exceptionally cold and wet weekend. We only needed to turn on the reverse cycle heating for a short amount of time before the fire kicked in and kept the room warm until the morning. The studio was close to many wineries great restaurants, pubs , cafes and easy access to the Reisling Trail. It was especially lovely to know that the studio was built by hand by the much loved Clare Valley artist - Murray Edwards. Thank you to Chris and Ella for making the studio available for others to enjoy. We will definitely stay again.

"The Nook" Studio Guesthouse

AngelaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My parents had a lovely stay at the Nook. Perfect cozy retreat, that is clean, stylish, and thoughtfully set up with everything needed. The location was quiet yet close to shops, wineries and restaurants, making it super convenient. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, would definitely book again! Kangaroos at the back door was a welcome treat.

The Loft Barossa

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Lodge was an absolutely stunning little spot in the heart of the Barossa to spend a chilly winter long weekend. My partner and I loved waking up to the peaceful countryside views from the bedroom and enjoying a coffee in the covered outdoor space. Would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore the Barossa and retreat home to a lovely little slice of heaven to unwind in the evenings

A beautiful lovingly restored home with very comfortable quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Great lounge with a large cozy wood burning stove. Well apppointed kitchen with everything you could need and Mellisa-Jane provided a generous selection of small goods, cheese and wine as well as the essentials for our stay. The outdoor area is great too - especially the fire pit with plenty of firewood supplied. We highly recommend this lovely house and would definately go back. Mellisa-Jane was very proactive and sociable and it was lovely to meet her too. Thank you Mellisa-Jane for a great weekend.

For us it was a central place for our activities. Despite the short term request we got very fast answers. Everything was as expected. Thanks for sharing your place with us. I do recommend this accommodation. 🖖🏻

Woodland Way Stay

MikaylaRating, 5 starstoday
From the moment we got there all we could keep saying was “omg”. So peaceful, beautiful & unique. From the little details such as milk, eggs, jams, coffee machine, fresh bread & biscuits, you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. You forget just how much space a bus has. There is plenty of room & having the outside area and bath is a massive plus! Jade was lovely from start to finish and couldn’t have been better. Will definitely be back!

Staying at Moculta has been an absolute delight. The cottage is cozy, full of character, and rich in history, making it a perfect retreat. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and thoughtful details, like the beautiful gramophone that adds a nostalgic charm. Exploring the surrounding Barossa Valley, especially biking to Angaston, has made this experience even more special. Thank you for welcoming us into your lovely home!
