Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

This is a self contained loft space with its own entrance, while still being part of our home. It has its own ensuite shower room, a small kitchen/dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and a 2-ring portable hot-plate. Please note….. it does NOT have an oven. It also has a settee & satellite TV. There is also access to our WiFi Internet.

Located just off Newcastle Main Street this newly built extension has it’s own private entrance with off street parking and wheelchair access. It is in close proximity to all amenities and the Slieve Donard Hotel so the perfect alternative accommodation for wedding attendees.
