MILO FARM-Sacred Kansas City Retreat

AmyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay was peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches! The downstairs space was spacious, spotless, and looked brand new—extra blankets, stacked towels, beach towels, and even a relaxing steam room made it feel like a retreat. Lonnie was so kind—she gave my daughter food to feed the goats and the girls food for the koi fish, which was magical to watch! The scenery was breathtaking, with gorgeous hiking trails and adorable animals. Though there was a double-booking, Lonnie generously refunded us and let us leave early, which we deeply appreciated. Communication was a bit delayed, so I recommend bringing your own lighter, and requesting wood before hand and clarifying who’s staff vs. other guests. If you’re sensitive to diverse beliefs, know this space honors multiple paths. Overall, a truly special stay—we left refreshed and full of beautiful memories! The donkeys are hilarious and the goats so cute! We loved that they just hang out in the property and you can pet them!

We absolutely loved this stay!! The home is beautiful, there is plenty of space, and it was very easy to find. My kids absolutely loved seeing the chickens and sheep and the neighbors were so kind! The hosted even left homemade chocolate chip cookies that were delicious!! Would absolutely book again!

Two story tiny house bungalow!

AshleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Jennifer’s place was in the perfect location. Small town. Beautiful neighborhood. But close enough to Kansas City’s attractions. Comfy bed! Private back porch for a nice morning coffee. And plenty to eat within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Jennifer added so many special treats to the place that we could stay a week and enjoy every minute.

Country camper near Lexington MO

PeterRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had never stayed in an RV before but for a quick weekend getaway decided to check it out. We were surprised by the space and quality of the RV. This is clearly a very nice one. the Kitchen was large and well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could want as well as a decently wide variety of breakfast items. The bathroom was quite large as well. The bedroom itself was a bit of a tight fit for my head but I'm extemly tall, for most anyone it should be no issue. The surrounding area is a relic of a once popping ranch that had rodeos and horse shows. As it stands it's a weathered aging barn with a handful of horses in the distance. This serves to make it feel very secluded. Our pug enjoyed it very much as well and there were even treats there for him! It's 10 minutes from historic Lexington which has restaurants. The only minor issue is one of the recliners got stuck extended, not a big deal otherwise the living room was amazing. we would visit again for sure.

Quilters Getaway

Carol SueRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Rebecca’s cottage is indeed a tiny house, but it had everything I needed for a three day quilting retreat including space to set up my sewing machine. Although there is sleeping accommodation in the loft, I didn’t use that because of the ladder used to access. The daybed on the main floor was very comfortable for sleeping. The cottage is set back from a county highway. During the day there was a fair amount of traffic, but very quiet at night. Kingston is a very small community with few amenities that I could see other than a coffee shop. Nearby Polo had a grocery and at least one restaurant. A bit farther, but easily reached, Hamilton has several restaurants plus many quilt shops. I highly recommend the Quilter’s Retreat and would stay there again.

Shangri-La - A Hidden Paradise

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Staying at Shangrila was definitely what I needed! Aaron was amazing and hospitable. His property had everything he listed which made it very easy to just make myself at home. He was responsive with questions, and made the checkin and checkout process extremely seamless. I would absolutely recommend this place to others if you are looking for a peaceful respite. Hopefully I will get a chance to visit Shangrila again soon! Thank you so much Aaron for an amazing experience!!!
