Wayan and her family were perfect hosts. The place was immaculate, gorgeous pool, and beautiful views. Breakfast at The Hide Out downstairs was delicious and filling. Wayan even went out of her way to make rice porridge for my husband when he wasn’t feeling well. We stayed 5 days and will stay with them again when we come back to Bali! Best place we have stayed in our 3 weeks here.

Easy location to get to the cente. The place is very pretty the rooms are great size and we really enjoyed our time there.

WOW!! What an amazing stay with amazing people, incredible service and value. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back. Zanzan and his lovely daughter Pavitram made us feel right at home, and also took care of our three kids, with us able to relax fully in serene surroundings, with not a worry in the world. Food and service were also amazing, prepared fresh, on time and served in comfort so you don’t have to leave the place or shop around. My kids loved playing with the pet rabbit, fishes, dogs, cat and hens! It’s also just a few minutes walk down the road from rice fields, offering unspoilt views and pristine views of mountains and beyond. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return!

Communications with Wayan were prompt, courteous and helpful. Note that Wayan speaks and texts in his Indonesian language. On-site house steward "Made" was terrific - he and his staff took care of everything upon arrival and during our stay. Excellent service! The "Villa Wedang Tea" unit was clean, romantic and a bit tropical exotic - with a patio view overlooking the swimming pool and a dense green landscaped rice terrace ravine (not the heavily tourist-trafficed rice terraces). No monkeys. ;-) Breakfast on the patio was the BEST. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Wayan's home. Positive feedback. We hope to return again...!

Marvellous! That’s it. It is beyond beautiful if I have to describe Dwi’s place. Aesthetically done, neatly crafted and beautifully designed this space is an art in itself. The sound of the waves at night adds to the beauty of the place. Loved their breakfast too. With fresh fruits and juice being served, it indeed is breakfast with a view. The space is well kept and with Dwi being very friendly and proactive, our stay was meant to be effortless. We’re grateful to the staff for their immense hospitality. This place is a gem. If ever one gets an opportunity to have the Balian Prana experience, just go for it without any thought. You’ll love it!

Eine tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben eine Nacht im Vogelnest und eine Nacht in einem normalen Zimmer geschlafen. Ein Abenteuer das man unbedingt erleben muss. Die Anlage ist unglaublich schön angelegt, die Mitarbeiter sind super lieb und der Abholservice am ersten Tag hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Man ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt und des Trubels von Ubud, kommt aber einfach zu Fuß mit einem kleinen Spaziergang zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Tipp: probiert unbedingt das Frühstück und bucht eine Massage. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen :)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect! Nice and quiet but still very central. There were so many nice restaurants near us and supermarkets. You only have to walk maybe 2 minutes from the main road with your bags so that wasn’t an issue at all. 10/10 will recommend to our friends.

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. Magnifique séjour !! Tout était parfait, l'environnement, la propreté, la gentillesse du personnel, la nourriture. L'arrivée est un peu perieuse car l'accès se fait par une route petite route pleines de trous mais une fois sur place c'est un tout autre décors. Je recommande à 200%

Wir haben uns die Unterkunft ausgesucht, weil wir in Medewi surfen lernen wollten und mit der Lage perfekt am Strand loslegen konnten. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im West Break Bali. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, aber sehr zu empfehlen. Man kann sogar direkt mit Blick auf das Meer frühstücken. Für Mittag und Abendessen sind wir lieber auf andere Restaurants ausgewichen, da uns die Auswahl nicht überzeugt hat. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen, der gerne in einer etwas ruhigeren Gegend surfen möchte und einfach eine entspannte Zeit abseits der Tourismus Massen verbringen möchte. Wenn man gerne Unternehmungen macht, ist man entweder auf einen Roller angewiesen (kann man in der Unterkunft mieten für 70k IR pro Tag) oder man bucht sich einen Fahrer. Zu Fuß empfehlen wir es nicht und die Strände sind leider voller Müll.

It's very beautiful and quiet here! You can totally experience the charm of Ubud here and very happy to spend two cozy days here! But you have to get used to all the insects and geckos here and the biggest problem here is that the showers often have no hot water! I think this is a much needed change!

I absolutely adored my stay here—the ArtVilla is just beautiful, so thoughtfully designed with stunning details everywhere. The surroundings with the little pond, pool, and lush greenery is so peaceful and feels like a little oasis. The bed was super comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean and again, so beautiful. The place is a one minute walk from Alchemy, and a slightly longer walk or quick scooter ride from central Ubud. This was truly one of my favourite spots I stayed in during my trip, and I will undoubtedly come back here for my next visit. 12/10 recommend! :)

The place is quite unique and magical. We loved the design and jungle view, sounds. The stuff is very helpful, there is daily cleaning, change of towels on demand. There is AC, toothbrush, toiletries. Very quiet, we could take part in yoga class, use sauna or flower bath - for extra fee. A note: this room had windows with holes, for those who don’t like to feel the wind (or with cold) might be unpleasant. We had a wonderful experience and would come back if had a chance!

We had a great stay at this villa in Bali! The location is very accessible — it’s easy to get around and close to many restaurants where you can enjoy a variety of delicious food. Several popular tourist spots are also nearby, which made exploring the area very convenient. The place was relaxing and perfect for a getaway. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali!

Very easy to check in and the place was really private and nice! Awesome breakfasts in the morning and only a 10 minute walk from Ubud town. Hosts were great and even organized transport from the airport too!

Der Besuch war magisch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat funktioniert und ich wurde wundervoll von der Familie empfangen. Dewu war hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das kleine Häuschen war wunderschön und paradiesisch. Ich hatte den Garden Room und der Ausblick von meinen Häuschen war wirklich atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen gab es hausgemachtes balinesisches Frühstück aufs Zimmer serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Ausflüge die ich mit Dewu waren wunderschön. Da ich alleine am reisen bin, war es gut einen Guide an seiner Seite zu haben, der alles erklären kann. Ausserdem machte er wunderschöne Videos und Fotos von mir. Da diese Unterkunft eher etwas ländlicher liegt und nicht direkt im Zentrum, kann man sich da super entspannen und runterkommen. Es gibt einen Pool wo man sich abkühlen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Es gab auch immer die Möglichkeit Dinner aufs Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

My stay at Maya Eco Retreat was truly exceptional and easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. This stunning bamboo hotel in Bali offers a unique combination of comfort, elegance, and tranquility that made our honeymoon unforgettable. The pool area was beautifully designed and personalized exactly as I had envisioned, adding a special touch to our stay. The floating breakfast was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, making for a perfect start to each morning. The staff were consistently attentive and approachable, always ready to assist with any requests. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed and truly at home throughout our entire visit. I highly recommend Maya Eco Retreat to anyone seeking a serene and luxurious getaway in Bali. It exceeded all our expectations, and I confidently rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

It was a great honor to be able to stay at the Arte Mente Studio in Ubud. I loved the decor and the super spacious room. The room had a nice private enclave for seating and for the shower/bathroom area as well. The bed was situated on a beautiful cement plateau. The black custom designed doors and artwork were beautiful. The staff was amazing and very kind. The pool and breakfast area are beautiful as well. I loved the location, as I love North Ubud. The shower and water pressure were wonderful as well. It was a great place and I recommend it to all.

Had a really pleasant stay at Iman’s place. Communication went really well and staff were really helpful. Shower area could be cleaner but other than that everything was fine!

I stayed for 2 nights at the Asmara Villa with a private pool inside Samanvaya Luxury Resort and wow… what an experience! I’ve been visiting Bali for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say that Samanvaya is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Everything looks and feel high quality and brand new, and the attention to detail is amazing. Makes you feel immerse in the local culture. One of our favorite spots were the Bathtub, pool and the living room area. Sidemen is 100% worth visiting—the peace and tranquility you feel here is something you don’t find in many places in Bali. The locals are incredibly friendly, and the culture here feels like the true essence of Bali. A huge thanks to Ari, Purna, Tami, and Diah for making my stay even more special. I really hope to come back soon!

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum! Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und stets erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und waren wirklich traurig, die Unterkunft aufgrund einer kurzfristigen Umplanung auf unserer Seite früher verlassen zu müssen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns der durchdachte Mückenschutz sowie die große Flexibilität vor Ort. Die Unterkunft bietet zudem verschiedene Leistungen an – wir haben uns eine wohltuende Massage gegönnt und waren begeistert. Und noch einmal: Das Personal ist einfach spitze! ☺️

Had an amazing week stay. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely. I especially like the area it’s in - private with a beautiful view aswel as walk/ drive around the rice terraces to the main road. The pool was lovely. There are bugs because of the area but the rooms are regularly swept and cleaned. The blinds outside were unfortunately broken so couldn’t pull all way up but other than that beautiful area and place.
