“A beautiful villa among rice fields, however, new houses are being built near the villa, in principle, the noise from the construction does not interfere. Also, the villa has barracks right, but this does not cause inconvenience. The territory of the villa is large, green and well-groomed. Regular cleaning with change of towels and bed linen. Fully equipped kitchen - there is a rice cooker, toaster, mixer, a lot of dishes. The pool is chic but shallow - about 155 cm. The only drawback of the villa is its weak and unstable internet, I hope the owners will try to solve this problem. Thanks a lot to manager Agung for his responsiveness! In general, the villa conveys the whole atmosphere of Ubud!”

“As everyone has stated it’s a beautiful, very instagram-able house! And the host, Mr Dodik, is awesome. He’s very responsive and attentive. A few things to consider that I think we missed when we decided to stay here... the house is a quick walk from where the car can drop you off (not a huge deal but not great in the rain); there are lizards in the house (that make noise at night and sometime leave little presents on the floor in the morning); and the smoke from the rice fields can get thick depending on the direction of the wind (not a big deal for us but could be if someone has respiratory issues). And it’s well advertised but the house only has A/C in the bedrooms. During the day, we did feel like the home was pretty hot and a bit uncomfortable (even with all the doors open and fans on). Bottom line, it’s a beautiful home in a very unique location. And if the aforementioned things wouldn’t bother you, this place is worth it!”

“I would highly recommend staying here, if you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place away from the tourist masses. The bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable - not only one of the most beautiful accommodations I stayed in in Asia, but also a wonderful local experience. Mades hospitality goes truly beyond generosity! He has good recommendations on what to do and see around Ubud, he always asks if everything is alright and he even took us to the family Doktor when we got sick. His family was nice and welcoming and his wife did a great job preparing a lovely rich breakfast every morning. You can rent motorbikes, his son has a Mexican restaurant which is worth checking out, his cousin next door has a pool - you will find everything you need and even so much more!
