We have lots of wood for the fire in winter, the outdoor bath is wonderful for stargazing & the (shared) swimming pool heaven on a hot day. We can also provide transport at a competitive fare to & from nearby walking trails, wedding venues & wineries.

This self-contained flat is in a lovely quiet location in Tuggeranong. It is fully furnished with a kitchen and all the things you need to have a relaxing stay. It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then. The Stables @ Longsight

The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island. The unit is seperate from the main house which is on a four acre property, backing onto the Numeralla river. The kitchen looks out onto 180 degree views of the beautiful Numeralla Valley. The atmosphere is all about peace and quiet.
