Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit our Nubian Goats Dolly, Daisy, and Dixie.

Although nestled in the woods for privacy, the cottage is just minutes away from fine dining and shopping. Whether you’re taking in the fresh air on one of the 9 hiking/walking/biking trails or enjoying watching the children play on the community playground (all within 150 yards of your cottage doorstep), Black Bear Cottage is the perfect family getaway.

Charming, Early 1900's Cottage

This beautiful and charming cottage sits at the foot of our 16-acre pasture and is quintessential to everything Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer. The cottage is close to everything, yet gives the feel of being away from it all. Built in the early 1900's, this house maintains it's history along with modern upgrades. The house over looks a pasture with cattle, where you can find deer grazing and turkey's passing by. To the left of the house is a pond that we do allow fishing on.
