Cabin holiday rentals in Buncombe County

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

We had awesome relaxing stay here at Treehouse Lodge! It was definitely not long enough & we are already wanting to plan a trip back here so we can enjoy even longer. The house was set up very well & had everything we needed & more. The thoughtful things like dog treats, snacks & plenty of comfy places to relax were very appreciated. We enjoyed the pool table & my favorite part was the screened in porch with the awesome hot tub with the most comfy hot tub towels! The views were amazing &peaceful especially on all of the porches. On top of all this the communication was top notch from start to finish and the hosts were very accommodating when managing our stay! This was the best stay ever, thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your home😊

Everything about 13 Dark Hollow was wonderful! The cabin was easy to drive to, with lots of foliage to keep it private outside. The cabin itself was a great blend of rustic with modern conveniences. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked some great meals there. The living room had a great automatic fireplace which made relaxing by the fire super easy and carefree! The hot tub and unique shower room made it feel like a spa retreat. Erica and Richard were great hosts and always made themselves available if need be. Overall, I would highly recommend 13 Dark Hollow to my friends and family. Can’t wait to come back! :)

Had a wonderful lil stay here. Nice and quiet peaceful getaway. The place was nice and clean, bed was comfy, and the coverd back porch was very relaxing during the rain. The sauna was wonderful!!

This cabin was absolutely magical! We visited on Memorial Day weekend and it could have been more perfect! It’s a beautiful cabin that has amazing views and really makes you feel at home. Our dog Luna absolutely loved the place! They left a whole variety of movies and games for us to enjoy while we were there as well! They also included a list with the best restaurants, hikes spots and things to do! We didn’t want to leave when our trip was over! Would love to come back one day in the future!

This was such a cute Airbnb, and exquisitely detailed. The porch was amazing, and I loved cooking in their kitchen, as I had everything that I needed with a beautiful gas range stove. The natural lighting, open concept, and modern rustic finishes make it worthy of booking. Additionally, Marshall is such a sweet little town. I will definitely return!

Mike and Cate are wonderful hosts with every attention to detail making their wonderful cabin a five star resort. There was even a pizza in the freezer for our weary grandchildren. With every amenity including laundry detergent and Bounce dryer sheets (we travel with those but were so happy they had them on hand); it makes for a stress free visit. Thank you Mike and Cate!

We had such a great time at Carrie’s cabin. The view from the deck is just beautiful, with picture-perfect mountain views that made for perfect sunsets by the fire bowl. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt comfortable and so peaceful, tucked away on a private, spacious green lot. We grilled out, spent time on the deck, and really just enjoyed slowing down. It’s a quick drive into Asheville, but there’s a lot to love right in Fairview. We visited some great little restaurants and trails nearby. Carrie was a wonderful, responsive host, and we would love to come back!

John’s place was perfect! It was exactly as described, clean, and very comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful stay in a wonderful cabin! This cabin is awesome - great bed, great shower, great location, great hosts. The fireplace is awesome. It can be switched on for just the overall effect but you have the option of turning up the heat for warmth. I scheduled my stay for some much needed peace and quiet during a difficult time in my life. I arrived with the sniffles but it progressed into much more. I kept asking for extensions if time and Samuel & Angie were awesome. Thanks again to them. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and my stay.

Alexis’ A-frame was beautiful and cozy. She had everything there we could possibly need! Finding the place, check-in/ getting in- everything was easy! I would definitely recommend!

This is a true Mountain retreat! The porch and view were amazing and it extremely peaceful. The drive up is a mountain road, and it is set into the woods, so be sure you're comfortable with windy, unpaved roads. The place was perfect for our girls trip. We were able to drive to both Asheville and Great hiking easily and the stocked kitchen made it easy to cook our dinners at the house, there is a grocery store about 15 minutes from the house. Comfortable beds and open living space made for cozy nights and mornings. There was a large storm while we were there that took out a tree and powerlines, blocking the drive and knocking out power. Heather had fantastic communication the entire time and made sure we still had what we needed and were aware of any updates. Easy and fast communication and check in/out. Would absolutely book with Heather again!

Our visit was epic! The cabin was gorgeous, spacious, inviting, roomy, and comfortable. Great supply of amenities. Julia went the extra mile to make sure we had everthing we needed. Her information packet was very informative. Best of all were the detailed instructions on how to locate the cabin. Julia is friendly and quickly responds to every communication.

What a wonderful place to stay! Less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Gorgeous views. Clean and quaint. Great home base for hiking. I truly enjoyed my stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Winter and Spring here and both seasons were so special! If you come during the winter the sky is so beautiful and full of stars through the bare trees. You can sit on the deck, warmed by the fire and gaze for hours. The forest is so quite and peaceful. We had some of the best sleep of our lives here, the beds are perfect. Spring was magical, the trees awakened and almost overnight everything was so lush and green. The sounds of birds during your morning coffee on the deck starts the day off just right. If you are looking for privacy, magic and deep soul healing this is your place! Weaverville is an adorable little town a quick beautiful drive away with many great restaurants. The home has everything you could need and Brenda was always responsive and friendly.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, and the views were spectacular! Seeing a mother bear with two cubs in the yard was an added bonus! Candace was responsive and her instructions and directions were very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing cabin in the Fall!

More often than not, rental properties fail to deliver what was promised. This one hit the mark for everything that it promised. Beautiful views and a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. All basic supplies provided. Clean, neat and uncluttered furnishings, plus everything needed was there and in great working condition. Beds were comfortable. The driveway was an experience, but it added to the adventure in a unique sort of way. Morning coffee and sunset cocktails on the balcony were incredibly wonderful for relaxing.

This place is very well described the listing. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery. Easy access, ample parking and turn around space. The deck out back couldn't be more beautiful. There is no TV and they didn't list one as an amenity, I just missed that detail when booking. The bathroom floor did have some hair and debris from before our arrival. The mattress is very firm but comfortable enough. Nice quality bedding! The view from the bed is nice as well.

What a fantastic stay! The view from the porch was everything, and we had beautiful days to enjoy it. We hadn't been to the area before, so of course wanted to hike around Chimney Rock and check out the flowering bridge. But other than that, everything else fell off of our list of potential things to do, because all we wanted to do was sit on the porch. We really wished that we could have stayed longer than 2 days. The interior space is cozy and clean, with everything you might need, including some games in the closet.

This place was the perfect getaway for my mom’s bday’s girl trip! There were a total of 7 people (4 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, 1 infant) and it was very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed being outside! It was so peaceful, private and the views are amazing- from the sunrise, the sunset and the moonlit night sky. The place was clean and we all slept spread out and comfortably! We really enjoyed the wrap around porch. We used it for play, for meals, and for relaxation. We also had the convenience of the grocery store, gas station and a few restaurants about 5 minutes away; it was literally a straight shot. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a private getaway.

We loved the place, Jeremy was responsive and things were as described. Cabin is at great place (away from city with great natural view but downtown still accessible within 10 minutes). We would certainly rent again if we are revisiting the place in the future. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking, washer/dryer were really handy, morning tea outside at the porch was priceless with Mountain View.

Rainbow Cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, had all the amenities we could want, and lots of nice touches. Ellie was very responsive and helpful! We had a little trouble finding the place, so some more detailed directions would be helpful! Other than that, it was an awesome experience.
