Batts Ferry is a much more modern version of a log cabin indicative of 1848. It is named in honor of the Batts family, which ran a ferry at the Brazos River on land neighboring 7F Land and Cattle Company. The Batts Ferry cabin is one of our coziest cabins with an interior of log walls, raised ceiling, king-sized bed and a round 2–person Jacuzzi tub set in the middle of a wooden water cistern. The screened-in front porch includes two rocking chairs and a domino table; perfect for a cool evening.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and big groups. We welcome pets, and charge a pet fee of $125 per stay. Just tell us with your request to book and we'll update your quote. We allow special event gatherings. Gatherings larger than 20 require an additional $50 event cleaning fee. Our home is in a well maintained development called Austin's Colony at the very end of a cul-de-sac. You can park your car free of charge on our driveway. Plenty of restaurants, a Kroger grocery store, and a liquor store are only about 1.5 miles from our house. The large backyard has a covered patio, BBQ and swimming pool you're free to use. Update :I have 2 rooms available now so when its all booked you have to share bathroom which I always see to it that they are always clean.

Once a working milking barn on the Schehin Dairy Farm, it has been beautifully restored and transformed. Just under 10 miles from Kyle Field off Wellborn Road (FM 2154), it offers both convenience and privacy.
