Cabin holiday rentals in Burntside Lake, Ely

Cedar Lake is stunning. Great views from both cabins which made relaxing on the porches perfect. Fishing was good & other wildlife was abundant. We enjoyed using the canoe, paddle boards, & paddle boat. David is a responsive communicator & was quick to help us with the water glitch in the seasonal cabin. We enjoyed our stay. (To future Airbnb renters: The second cabin is indeed seasonal so keep in mind seasonal cabins come w/ glitches. With that being said, the little cabin was exactly what I personally was looking for.)

Beautiful place with great host. The best part was the evening sky over the lake. It’s definitely a gem.

Great location on the lake near Giant’s Ridge. Amazing amenities with games, kayaks, bbq, decks and lots of space. Perfect for our family getaway weekend. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly is a big plus!

We had a couple of issues at check in and Jason went above and beyond to get everything just right for us. My family had a fantastic stay and are already talking about coming back next year.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It has a beautiful lake view and was very clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. It is in the perfect location right on the lake yet just a quick drive into Ely.

Great cabin with access to the lake, nearby gas/bait on the water and a fish cleaning station in the boat house. Would recommend to anyone!

Had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Cynthia’s place. Smooth communications and checkin/out; rooms are very warm and cozy, amenities all work well, great location too. Will definitely rebook if returning in the future!

Our stay at Crane Lake was great! Everything was as described. Mike and Angie were amazing hosts. The garage space was so great for our kids and they loved hanging out there. The dock space was amazing and lots of good fishing right off the dock. The paddle boat was a big hit with my kiddos. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

We had a great time. Cabin was cozy and the view was beautiful. Roy, Denise and Kortney were excellent in every way. Will definitely stay there again.

2nd year staying here. Easy boat access in and out of driveway. House super clean and very private.

Fantastic place to stay in a peaceful location!

This was a great place for our Up North vacation. A quaint little place on a private little lake. Nothing fancy, but lots of space. Everything you'd expect from a cabin plus more that we didn't expect, like a whole screened in garage with extra fridge space, tons of yard games, and complimentary s'mores - YUM!

Thank you for sharing your paradise with us! Our family enjoyed the private, peaceful cabin. Thanks for having all the necessities well stocked. The kids enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding from the dock, fishing on Lake Vermillion and cooking dinner on the deck. The views were breathtaking! We were all sad to leave but plan to come again next year!

Our family stayed for 7 nights. Cabin was newly remodeled and had a wonderful view of the lake. We really enjoyed the lake access/boat ramp, wood burning sauna, and watching movies on the projector screen. Host and management were very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended and worth the money. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Heather was incredibly accommodating, very quick to respond to questions, and very helpful. The inside was clean, functional, and we had everything we needed. Don't expect the most luxurious stay, but it was exactly what we needed at a great price. Thanks Heather! P.S. There's no service for miles so make sure to write down the check-in instructions before you get there.

Landy's place was a quaint, and rustic cabin in the gorgeous and pristine setting of the Northwoods. We loved waking up to the fog rising from the Lake, and having our morning coffee by the water. Described as expected, with no electricity or running water we packed as if we were tent camping and we felt prepared for our stay. Our family stayed up late by the light of kerosene lamps playing cards. It was a great bonding experience and a welcome get away from wifi and technology. The boat rental was a plus, and locals were very friendly and welcoming to us.

Great place to stay! Had an amazing time with my friends. It’s a beautiful place to stay and very peaceful. Nice place to escape and go fishing.

Great host, forgettable vacation On our second night in the cabin, I started feeling ill. My wife called the EMTs (who were great, btw) and they had me airlifted to Duluth for a round of tests and, ultimately, an implanted defibrillator. My wife was left in Elyto pack up and drive to Duluth. Chad pulled out boat out of the water and parked it in a back lot. She had left some lawn furniture and fishing tackle on the deck; he took care of all that too. I'm feeling fine now and regretting that we didn't spend more time on the lake during the one day we were there.
