Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bute

This is a lovely place to stay in Glasgow. the bed and pillows are really comfy, and the space itself is great. It's both roomy, and cosy, and all the extra touches are fab. Things like funky light fittings, gorgeous blankets, the kitchen fitted out with decent knives, chopping boards and really nice glasses. The location couldn't be any better for Glasgow, a few minutes walk from the west end and a wealth of lovely restaurants, the subway to get you anywhere you want, and he botanical gardens are just up the road. Also, the parking space is a huge plus, all in all,a great location, a gorgeous little house, and all the touches inside make it really special. thank you 😊

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Beautiful location and property. Had every amenity that was needed. A blow dryer was included, which was nice that we did not have to travel with ours as the plugs are different from country to country. The yard was filled with plants and flowers and was extremely beautiful. Conveniently located to many popular attractions as well as Northern England. We would stay here again. The town of Killearn is so charming, and the shop owners are very nice and willing to help with anything that is needed.

It’s a beautiful, clean and quiet place. Got everything we need. It was easy to check in and check out. Kitchen was well equipped. Would recommend to others. Regards Deepti

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Unlike anywhere we’ve been before with the RGB lights and black interior. It was very spacious and practical. Partner loved the walk in wardrobe! The bed and pillows were certainly comfortable, probably the most comfortable Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And the hot tub was bliss, very hot and jets were very powerful. Overall had everything you needed for a couple days stay and id definitely recommend!

Great well equipped house, amazing views, walking distance to the pub, loads of hot water, comfy beds and sofas, everything worked. Dog friendly. No off road parking but there was always plenty of space on the road in front of the house

Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. A beautiful property in a peaceful location with all the amenities you need. We were so lucky to have a week of non-stop sunshine and the garden was the perfect place to soak that up from morning to late evening. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rothesay with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

Stunning spacious duplex apartment with main rooms on the ground floor and bedrooms/ full bathroom down spiral staircase…spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully furnished with all the facilities and utensils you would need. The apartment is in a fabulous location set back from the main street but handy for the west end and city centre….lots of great bars and restaurants nearby but located in a quiet residential neighbourhood beside Kelvingrove park. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and easily sat 6 people. Kitchen was well laid out with everything you would need if you wanted to cook. Utility room also had a third toilet which was handy as well as laundry facilities. An oasis in a stunning period building, handy for all that Glasgow has to offer.

Went there for a weekend on motorcycle. Great place, safe parking for motorcycle, Perfectly clean property, fully equipped. on arrival there was waiting for me bottle of milk, butter, fresh eggs from Frances hens! so you can imagine that my breakfasts were eggcellent! thank you very much Frances! I highly recommend this place.

Spacious and comfortable stay with a lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing. I would recommend this place for others.

Emma’s apartment is such a great place to stay with the most amazing view out towards the islands and really modern, tasteful decor. It is light, bright and spacious offering an ideal place for both short or longer stays and it is an easy walk along the prom into Largs. I would love to stay there again.

Mandy is a great host always very quick to respond. We had a very comfortable stay in her spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a home from home. Position is ideal with Inverkip village a short walk away, with there local village hotel for something to eat and a few drinks. You can get the local bus from the village. There is also the Chartroom only a short stroll from apartment if you want somewhere closer to eat and drink. Inverkip train station is close to catch a train to Glasgow.

The place was ideal for us. Clean and tidy. Lots of extras for us and guests. Perfect place to stay.

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Views from windows and balcony are stunning, ever changing skies and sea, with gannets, oystercatchers, ringed plovers, herons. Spotted an otter on the beach late one evening, lots of wildlife to be seen on Arran. We also saw golden eagles, red squirrels, seals, deer. Simply Thai restaurant next door was excellent, eat in and takeaway. Everyone in village was very friendly and helpful. Beverley and Patrick were ideal hosts, responding immediately when we had a problem (of our own making!). Hope to return.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Was a good place for what we needed. Had my wedding party staying in it so they were closed to our venue.

Great quirky location for a family get together for a 60th birthday. House was very well equipped, clean and exceeded expectations, would recommend.

This was a perfect place for our large family group to use as a home base to explore the area. The house and yard were great and it had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again!

We were a family of 11 and 3 dogs and we were blown away by the villa. When we got inside we were walking from room to room saying wow at every new room. We cannot praise Nicola and James enough for their communication throughout keeping us informed. Everything was just perfect 👌 the extension with the dining room with the long table was our favourite room and the sofa positioned so you could look out over the loch was everyone’s favourite place to be ❤️ The villa is very well stocked with everything you could need and more. I had read about the welcome pack but didn’t dream it would be as lovely as it was (sadly it’s all gone now!) the hot tub was very welcome after a busy day. The scenery in Scotland is stunning. Three of our party climbed Ben Nevis and the drive to Fort William must be one of the most beautiful in Scotland/UK. Philips home is beautiful, such a joy to stay there every window and door looked out to the garden across to the Firth of Clyde, amazing views watching the boats and birds, and ever changing sky's. I cannot eat Gluten and dairy, Philip provided his home made breakfast pots which were really delicious also bread milk biscuits, fruit, yoghurt and jams also sunflower spread, tea and coffee, orange juice he had made so much effort to ensure they were suitable for me. The bed was so comfortable and to wake up open the curtains to those views what a joy! I can highly recommend Philip and his airbnb home, truly wonderful Anne
