Amazing stay at Mbuyuni Beach Village. This place is very beautiful, rooms are very confortable, breakfast and food provided at the restaurant are good quality. The lunch and the dinner proposals change every day. The swimming pool is perfect, especially when the tide is low and there are a lot of different places around to read or have a talk in a hamac or deck chair with an amazing view on the beach. The staff is very polite, nice and always there to help you. This was definitely the best part of our trip in Zanzibar :)

My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

Sweetest Bungalow, totally clean, most comfy bed. Amazing area with great bar and even more important: great people. They helped with everything- thank you!

The stay there was short but everything was great!! The beach right next door where you can see a great sunset, the people are very friendly and attentive.

The Laguna Palace went above and beyond our expectations for a vacation! The resort is super comfortable and tastefully decorated, the food is delicious, and the staff is so attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and of course the amazing beach and pool. Highly recommend!!

Very nice place in Zanzibar :) Staff is welcoming and helpful, good location at 2 minutes of a free tourist beach ! Food is correct and cheap.

A dream resort for backpackers.

Super nice and pleasant place. Very nice staff always friendly. Beautiful rooms in bungalows in beautiful style bungalows. Great breakfast and food at all times of the day. (The seafood-pilav is awesome) Beach in 3 min. Walking distance. Nice and quiet even when there are several resorts nearby. Cool local bar across the street. Small merchants nearby. dala-dala runs 10 minutes walk to Stone Town or Paje... the staff also organizes beautiful tours. Particularly nice the sailing trip to the mangroves... we only recommend it!

Thanks so much Elske and Saldat! Wonderful hosts, perfect cleanliness, delicious healthy breakfasts, good price and literally a few steps to the wonderful Paje beach! You need to be prepared for the fact that instead of a door to the toilet there is a curtain, there are no glasses on the windows (only a grid and curtains) and there is no air conditioning (but there is a ceiling fan right above the bed). These are more features of budget housing on the island, not disadvantages.

A real paradise , I am really impressed by the services included very rich breakfast with very nice local fruits, clean forces and pleasant smells in the room ,I had a comfortable bed, even a value for my money, 24/7 security, on the beach in front of the ocean in the morning it's a pleasure to wake you the waves of the ocean , beautiful outdoor furniture even impressed me this location even a little paradise , and I feel lucky that I discovered it, I will come back and stay long term , to recommend

My husband and I had previously stayed in Saidi and Sarah's other available room, but moved to this accommodation when we extended our stay with this lovely couple. Having experienced both options, I wish we rented this room for longer! This room was fabulous. It is quiet and cosy and gets a great breeze through the space. The mattress is extremely comfortable. It was a comforting and restorative place to go back to at the end of the day. The breakfast provided was delicious. The location is easily accessible to the bus, tuk-tuks, and multiple markets. It’s a quick walk to the beach and to good restaurants. Sarah and Saidi are amazing hosts who made my husband and I feel extremely welcome, supported, and comfortable in Jambiani. Truly, we would have been lost without them and their welcoming and kind nature. We hope to return to Jambiani again, and when we do we will certainly return to this room!

Renata’s place was a lucky last minute find for me and my family. She has two guest rooms but the facilities for many more. We enjoyed a peaceful Christmas holiday at her place relaxing at the pool with evening strolls along the beach for tide pooling. It was the perfect respite after our one week safari. The pool is absolutely amazing and access to a private chef for meals was very convenient. With the attention to detail such as local handmade holiday themed napkin rings and Christmas tree hanging in our room combined with the beautifully manicured garden, it is clear that Renata and Jacob have built something truly special. Thank you for the hospitality!

Perfect place to unwind, Ali and his staff have been attentive to our requests, it was good fun stay with them and the setting is stunning. The low tiides gave us the chance to interact with locals going about their daily tasks on the beach. Not far there is the possibility to party at the kae beach bar but we preferred enjoy the beauty of Afya Village with its many spots to sips a drink or read a book in front of the ocean. We fpund the price of the drinks a bit higher compared to other places but overall has been a fantastic experience Thank you Ali and staff

An absolute paradise. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing with great food and stunning surroundings.

I was only there for one night because I landed at night. Communication with Paola was great, uncomplicated and she was always really quick to reach! Breakfast was great, check-in in the middle of the night - no problem! Paola is such a lovely woman, she🥰 goes to great lengths and offers her help. The location is just not for me personally, there is nothing around except beach and a few restaurants, but beautiful nature to see!! Thanks Paola! 🫶🏽🌴

I arrived and immediately felt to be part of the place! I really enjoyed the room on the ground-floor of the tree house, feeling nature all around and getting a nice breeze. The garden is beautiful and I love the eco-concepts! Valentina is thoughtful, yet she is busy and out a lot and might not be available (but somebody will be at your disposal). There were also issues with the wifi. The place is directly located in a village, which makes it very calm and the encounters were wonderful, I felt safe as well. On the downside there is nothing really close by and even though I enjoyed the walk to the beach, the 15mins can seem rather long. Also I find it necessary to mention that the steps heading up to the toilets are rather small - even me, a healthy, young person, had to be minding my steps. All in all I enjoyed the stay, thank you again!

stayed 10 days, and will be back for our last 6 days in Zanzibar as we loved JPearl. varied and very hearty breakfasts. in the heart of the village and beach 2 or 3 minutes walk.

Jambiani is more chill than paje, suggesting it would be fun to rent a motorbike from rose to explore.Although there are some small conditions in the house, rose will find a way to solve it, there are cute dogs and a pair of cats in the house, which is very comfortable

Gem Beach was a true gem. The location was peaceful - away from the hustle and bustle of Paje. The bungalow was perfect, overlooking the pool. Air-conditioning a nice touch. The breakfasts were fantastic - lots to eat, loads of fresh fruit and all the extras. The resort is right by the beach so swimming is easy, and there's a pool. Staff excellent. Very friendly.

As described by the host, it was easy to find, the service staff was very considerate, 50 meters to the beach, it was really good, I will stay here again.

I really enjoyed it at the Ananasi! Nice quiet location, close to the great beach. But not far from the nightlife - get great tips from the owners. The personal contacts with Boda Boda riders also helped me a lot. A super cool place to relax or work on vacation. And a fresh juicy every morning 👌

Wow! What a fantastic place! Absolutely picturesque. Every member of staff always had a big smile on their face, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a pleasure each morning and the lunch and dinner menus were great. Whether it was by taxi or tuk-tuk, travelling around Jambiani and Paje was cheap and easy. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay to relax and unwind. Everything was "pole-pole" ( slowly-slowly) and " Hakuna Matata" ( no worries), which is exactly what we needed. Venessa was a wonderful host, and her help and support when we had flight difficulties was second to none. We had the most incredible time, and can't wait to return again.
