Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Byron Shire Council

Ji-mba Cottage was a comfortable and convenient place for us to stay while we attended BluesFest. A gorgeous location and close to cute hinterland villages and restaurants. Michael was a great host, responsive and with lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit.

Kelli's place is amazing!! My girlfriend and I had the most peaceful & relaxing stay. Beautifully designed and decorated which made the stay feel luxury yet rustic. It's super close to the cute little town of Newrybar and a 5-10 min drive to Bangalow for coffee & restaurants and 10-15 mins to all the beaches. The animals are cruising around the property and the birds are chirping up there with a view into the distance in most directions over the rolling hills. All the amenities you need to never even leave the house, including the pool, which came in handy for lazy days when we didnt want to leave so we just fired up the BBQ and laid in the sun. Highly recommend. We can't wait to come back again!

We had such a beautiful Christmas at Coorabell. The setting was beautiful, the house immaculate and so well appointed. We loved that we could head into the beach at Byron in 15 minutes and then escape again to our Hinterland retreat. The views were absolutely spectacular and we felt so far removed from everything which was exactly what we wanted. The attention to detail was fantastic, so well thought out, we didn’t want for anything. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property - great for the family to enjoy time together and then spread out to different spaces to enjoy the pool (with a slide the kids loved), kids room with TV or spacious and light bed rooms. Location was great to walk to local shops, restaurants and cafes, easy walk to river to fish or paddle board and stroll to beaches. Min and Ryan were extremely helpful and left out games/toys/books for our kids after checking their ages. A fantastic stay and a lovely property.

We stayed at Three Meadows this weekend and absolutely loved it! The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean, cosy, and thoughtfully set up. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape!

One of the best airbnbs I've stayed in. The things that put it over the top are the peaceful location in between the river and ocean beach, lovely front garden, the thoughtful extras and how close it is to the town centre. It was also very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

If you get the chance to spend time here do it. This is a really special place. The home is super stylish and comfortable and the location is absolutely amazing. Calm and peaceful yet close to so much. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Steven is very easy to communicate with.

This was a unique yet amazing experience! Being amongst wildlife and with great people really made for a fantastic stay and I would 100% do it again. Great value for money too. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Erin's place is in such a convenient location in the centre of town. Really well-equipped and bonus of two carparks! Only downside is that we didn't get to use the great outdoor area as it rained all weekend! Would definitely return.

Great location with magnificent views of the ocean. Special treat unexpected was sleeping to the sound of the ocean. The units main windows completely open up and you have an undisturbed view of the locals surfing at sunrise. Underground parking was convenient and easy. Everything else you need is within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about this little cottage. It was one of the most relaxing Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed and extremely cosy. But really, what more could you want sitting out on that deck with the sounds of nothing but nature. It’s a little ‘off the beaten path’ but if you’re up for an adventure, you’ll have no troubles. In fact, that’s what makes it so special!

Beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible view. Paul’s home is very well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The large kitchen makes it easy to cook up a feast for your big groups. Bedrooms and amenities were comfortable (great to have a dog friendly option). Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing home for our 2 families of 10! Fantastic home in an ideal location ~ close to great cafes, restaurants and great beaches. The home was absolutely perfect with lots of added extras including pantry items, cleaning products, coffee pods and beach towels. The kids had an amazing time using the bikes, paddle boards and canoes left for us to use. Our host Keisha was extremely helpful and very quick in responding to our questions. We will definitely be back to visit! Thank you 😊

Lisa’s place was wonderful, pool , spa and out door fire pit gave us lots of choices to sit and relax. The house was quaint and comfortable. Our stay was with friends and both bedrooms were comfortable but we did draw the short straw and had the green bathroom. I know first world problem but we didn’t realise this bathroom was only accessible from outside. But once we got over that everything was perfect. Definitely recommend staying at Lisa’s.

We absolutely loved this place. Its set in a lovely tranquil setting in the wilderness with spectacular views of the mountains. The fitout of our retreat is modern and well planned and set out. The kitchen was fully functional, bed extremely comfortable with a beautiful deck looking out across the mountains which made the experience all the more relaxing. Graham was wonderful and accommodating. We can't wait to come back.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I had entered an oasis of healing and self reflection with a transcendence of kind energy, as Paul made me a fresh cup of tea and told me about his path to help others transform their journey through various holistic practices. I did manage to try out the light and sound therapy experience, and would 100% recommend it for anyone interested in healing and science. The shower utilised a rain water tank, and the bedroom was surrounded by beautiful scenery, sounds of birds, and rustling trees. These of course added to the overall ability to relax and unwind. I ventured out to the mineral pool on a few occasions, which was surprisingly a comfortable temperature till late in the evening. Locally, there was an abundance of things to see and do, and Paul made sure I was informed. The various house guest all made me feel so welcome, one inviting me to her birthday and another preparing and sharing a curry, health tips and drinks. Thank you 🙏

The house was nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of the ocean and stars at night. The house was nice and spacious, especially the deck. However, it was not well maintained. We experienced a broken fan and a broken tool to open the windows that were too high to reach. Part of what makes this house really special is the beautiful big windows that look out onto a stunning view. However, there were no screens and it was quite warm in the house unless the windows were open. At night we felt the need to close the windows due to bugs, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us in the evenings.

We have stayed in many airbnbs over the years, but this location was the most beautiful surroundings we have stayed in. It was so very peaceful and just breathtakingly beautiful! Very easy communication with both Stephen and Donna. And we would definitely come back again! Thank you for having us💖

Shonnea really went above and beyond providing not only wonderful accommodation, but an excellent selection of local foods for breakfast, not to mention the best baked beans ever. To top it off we were welcomed with warm and energetic conversation before being introduced to their beautiful puppies and some friendly pet cows. thanks for being so warm and welcoming, we will be sure to recommend Avion to friends and family
