Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bywater, New Orleans

Our new favorite Mid City stay! Welcoming and inviting, beautiful architecture, mindful NOLA decor that is a mixture of modern/vintage/antiques, spacious and comfortable! Fun coffee shop just steps away on the corner. Safe neighborhood and relaxing to sit on the front porch chatting with neighbors who are also welcoming. We have stayed with Breanna and Nick a couple of times at other homes and they are the absolute best!!! Pretty sure we will only stay at one of their properties when we pop into town to visit our daughter - I feel like we are friends now :) Another great experience!

Perfect location for what we were looking for.

The home has a charming vintage feel with beautiful original details. It was cozy, peaceful, and perfectly located—whether you're here for the music, food, history, or culture, it's an ideal base for exploring New Orleans.

Extremely satisfied and happy with the property. I have stayed at some AirBnB's where the place looks like the pictures, but they definitely took the pictures from the best angles. Eric's place was actually better than the pictures! Very spacious, well decorated and so comfortable. I've stayed at a couple of shotgun homes in NOLA and they feel cramped. This house looks like a shotgun (with 2 sides), but it has been remodeled into one home so a lot of space, wonderful kitchen and a great deck. Very convenient to a number of places in NOLA. Caroline’s place is great! It’s adorable, comfortable, and convenient. She makes it easy to check in and has a book full of local restaurant suggestions. Parking is plentiful and easy and it’s nice to stay in a typical New Orleans style shotgun home. We’d 100% stay here again.

Angie was the most accommodating and exceptional hosts I have never interacted with through Airbnb. She was extremely responsive, helpful and supportive as we explored New Orleans. This was the stay of our life time. Our accommodations were superb and we were able to connect with many old friends who live in New Orleans. We definitely have preferred staying at Brenna and Nick’s to any hotel in town. Will certainly be back.

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

An Amazingly Charming Stay in the Heart of New Orleans! This home perfectly captures the spirit of New Orleans. The exterior has that classic, historic charm I dream about when I think of the city, and the interior beautifully balances vintage character with modern comforts—those beds were incredibly comfortable! The original hardwood floors and thoughtful furnishings made it feel both cozy and stylish. Just a heads-up: this is a true New Orleans shotgun house, so the rooms flow one into the next with no hallways. It’s also a duplex with shared walls, so sound can carry—something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the charm and location more than made up for it. We felt completely safe walking to and from the French Quarter (just a 15-minute walk), even late at night. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made everything easy. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

he made sure everything was up to what we paid for and that we were all happy.He answered all calls and text if anything happened and fixed things right away with no questions asked.Everything was clean and well taken care of the pool was a nice plus to have in the heat it was very clean.He was friendly with us like he knew us and treated us like a friend. During our recent stay at this Airbnb, we arrived on a Friday and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience. Conveniently situated near the French Quarter and downtown, the location is ideal for exploring New Orleans. There's even a fantastic BBQ restaurant right across the street from the property. The Airbnb features a lovely pool, and we took full advantage of the supplied propane grill for a delightful barbecue. The host was exceptionally considerate and provided numerous small necessities that often go overlooked when packing. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely consider booking this property again on my next visit to New Orleans.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Nick's place in NOLA. For a family of 6, we were within walking distance to a park, and quick driving (or a longer walk) to downtown and everything we needed. We'll be staying here again for our next stay in the city.

The pictures don't do this home justice. It is absolutely beautiful and gives off the perfect New Orleans vibe. The hosts were very accommodating with the different arrival times of our group. The home is close to Magazine Street, a short walk to street car pick ups and a short uber drive anywhere else. Very comfortable and would stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

A group of my friends and I stay at Var’s place for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the back deck was very comfortable. We were a quick 10 minute uber ride to the French Quarter which was very practical. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great Airbnb in Nola!

This studio, just around the corner from Frenchman Street is a great choice for a stay in New Orleans. Just steps away from the bars and music on Frenchman Street, this place offers a surprising level of privacy. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious, with an antique tile, step-in shower. No steps anywhere! We enjoyed our stay with Lauren.

We had a great stay it’s a very clean place and the beds were really comfortable! They left books with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town and advice for our visit aswell ! Definitely had a great stay and will recommend them to anyone needing an Airbnb in NOLA!

One of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans was selecting Angela’s house. It was a joy to stay in a neighborhood that gave me the feeling that I lived in New Orleans. It was the small treats of sitting on the front porch, watching locals walking their dogs and riding their bikes plus exchanging greetings with all that passed by. If you didn’t want to stray far from “home” there were a multitude of excellent restaurants in very close proximity. Above all, was Angela’s house. It was comfortable, furnished tastefully, fully equipped kitchen and quiet. Add to that winning combo was Angela. The perfect host, attentive to helping with anything you needed. Highly recommend staying here.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like snacks, toys and bowls for my pups and local recommendations. I’ve read a lot of these reviews and it feels like people are often sleuthing for some tiny flaw to cry about. But me, I was so happy with my stay. Zero complaints. Gorgeous shotgun apt (huge btw- far more space than I needed!), great yard to sit and drink coffee in, tons of amenities (the bikes are a great touch though I didn’t use them- would totally have done so with more time in the city). Walked to the levee with my pup, went to the Joint, hung out at Bud Rips. Perfect Bywater day. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic — there’s so much to do within just a 10-minute walk. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time there!
