Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Nestled between towering mountainscapes and enduring vineyards, this property is situated in Franschhoek, a town known for its world-class dining, wine tasting, and natural beauty. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). Black Elephant, Chamonix, Dieu Donne winery's and the famous Winetram are just a short walk away. Nooks is sumptuous, private, cosy, relaxing, full of original art, high ceilings, log fires, beautiful generous spaces and mountain views. Nooks comes alive at night and is great for couples, solo adventurers, who want to be near the soul of this beautiful village. We take up to 4 adults max.

For us this venture is a dream come true. We have designed every inch of the double-volume space with its spectacular arch window ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it! The interior is modern and quirky, with whites and greys forming the backdrop to an eclectic ensemble of furniture and finishes in chrome, glass, wood, and plain and printed fabrics. Potato Patch Self Catering Cottage

This versatile thatched roofed cottage is centrally located in a private setting offering contemporary country comfort with a dash of history. It is one of the two cottages located on the owners property with its own entrance and secluded garden. The cottage consists of 3 en suite bedrooms furnished with king sized beds. The rates are based on 2 people sharing a room. Using additional rooms comes with an additional charge. Pets are permitted on request at an additional charge.

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

It has a prime position in Hermanus at the waters edge, with uninterrupted panoramic view of Walker Bay through its floor to ceiling frameless windows. This allows fantastic whale watching opportunity in season. It is opposite a Spar store, and a 18 hole golf course. It has been newly designed and renovated by John Greenfield FRSA and had high end finishes and equipment. This is set within its own beautiful gardens, with leisure area. A new heated pool will be built in 2026

Protea Loft Cottage nestles under the branches of an old tree. Protea is the top unit of two cottages in a large garden. An airy open plan space, stylishly decorated with your comfort in mind. Open the sliding doors, sit back onto the comfy couch, and look out over the garden and swimming pool. My place is close to mountain contour paths, cliff paths, and beaches. You’ll love my place because it is peaceful, comfortable, has a beautiful sea view and is safe.
