Cabin holiday rentals in Caledonian Canal

This was our third stay at The Cabin, it is always such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Claire was really helpful, and offered us some great advice on places to visit. We will definitely be returning

Kristy’s place was great. Had everything we needed. Comfortable, quiet, kitchen was complete. Hot tub was very nice!! Kristy met us at check in and it simple and straightforward. Would be delighted to be there again!

Lovely stay with clear instructions and good amenities. Everything felt well presented and spacious. The only downsides were some staining on the couch and the DVD we watched being scratched.

Very nice cabin. Very peaceful and calm surroundings. Sensational views of lochness. Only 20 mins from the centre of Inverness so plenty things to do locally. Nice, clean, welcoming host. Excellent money for value.

We loved the log cabin and the surrounding area. It was a beautiful location, surrounded by nature and the hot tub was a bonus. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were responsive and helpful if we needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The pod itself was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect cozy retreat. The entire site was immaculate. Our 13 year old Labrador felt right at home snoozing in the enclosed outside space on the grass and decked area. Tracy was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a truly relaxing break including helpful instructions on how to use the hot tub. We left feeling completely refreshed and recharged!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

This place feels more like a little oasis than a standard accommodation, with an eclectic and magical atmosphere that makes it the perfect getaway. For culinary adventures, there’s a pizza oven and gas stove in the kitchen. The interior includes a beautiful bedroom, a charming living room with a wood stove, and a well-equipped kitchen. Every corner reflects Ali's vibrant personality and passion for creating a welcoming environment. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated during my stay. Ali truly enhanced our experience; she is friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From giving us a tour to organising events and even lending us her bike, her hospitality was outstanding. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a fun escape, this place has it all!

We had a wonderful week at Lorna’s lodge. The weather was favourable, and it was the ideal escape from city life, letting us truly relax and feel at home. Our dogs had a blast on the walks and loved swimming in the Spey. The lodge’s peaceful location was just what we needed,Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful part of Scotland,all the walks that are local are beautiful. It’s a great base to have because there are lots of places within 30-45 minutes. The village is beautiful and we will be returning. Watch the shinty when you are there …

Toms place was amazing, perfect for what we needed, beautiful property and peaceful. Tom was a great host if anything was needed tom was there to answer. Would absolutely recommend Toms place, if we where in the area again I would not hesitate to book again. All information for the property and instructions on how to get there is given straight over making the whole experience a breeze

We had a really nice overnight stay at Jakkie’s. It was very clean and modern. We had everything we needed for our stay.

A fabulous little lodge, communication from the owner was spot-on. Attention to detail throughout was incredible from arrival, key location message from the owner and a few little treats laid on. Would definitely stay here again, the surroundings are beautiful with a river at the bottom of the garden. Hats off, epic value for money. Thank you ever so much for your hospitality.

Just spent 3 nights at Coille Bheag and we wish it had been longer .On the first night we were visited by two young deer just yards away from the lounge window. It's just a couple of minutes walk away from the rocky shore of Loch Ewe .. ideal for walking the dog .. and a 5 minute drive to the lovely sandy beach at Firemore ... a little further on is the war memorial and WW2 concrete bunkers at Cove .. well worth a visit .Gairloch is a short drive away and a little further is the stunning beach at Mellon Udrigle. The lodge itself is spacious and well equipped, peaceful and in a great location with everything you'll need for your holiday . Alasdair is very helpful and easy to communicate with Would definitely like to return if back up this way

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the cabin with our dog. It’s very well located, just over an hour from Glasgow but quiet and secluded. The cabin is comfortable and has everything one would need for a few days in the highlands. The wood burner is a lovely touch and keeps the place warm and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was also spotless and well maintained. Cornelius was a very responsive and accommodating host!

Wonderful little cabin - very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Exactly what we wanted after several busy days touring to relax and recharge. Easy drive in to Pitlochry if you want to pick up groceries, etc. Plenty of nearby hiking to get out and enjoy nature. One of our favorite places to stay during our tour of Scotland.

The cabin was a peaceful oasis, and we felt like we were staying in the woods, but it was only a short walk downhill to the high street and train station. (Keep in mind it is back uphill if you buy much, but there is a taxi stand right at the end of the high street if needed.) Greg was a friendly and helpful host with lots of great suggestions about the area. The cabin was spotless and decorated with lots of lovely touches. I would stay here again if we’re in the area and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay at Riverside Cottage, beautiful location. Perfect cosy base to come back to after a day exploring Glen Affric and the wider area. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the bustle of city life for a few days.

Our stay at Anne's place was wonderful, it was easy to get around Inverness by car or public transport. Anne was lovely and so welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was wonderful to have our own space and the bed and furnishings were amazing. Loved every minute of our stay.

What an amazing location. Right on the Loch just like the photos. An easy walk (100m) down to a stone beach where you can swim. We had a drink on the balcony each evening enjoying the view and the serenity. Even had a visit from the pine marten. There were two other lodges close by, but they are all private and well separated. The location is a little remote, but that was a big plus for us. We found the quality of produce in the region exceptional so decided to cook during our stay and maximize the time we had to enjoy the location. The kitchen has all you need to cook for yourself. There are places to eat in the area if you want to eat out. The lodge was very clean and well laid out. Dermot is super responsive and leaves detailed instructions for everything. We would happily return.
