We advise bringing sleeping bags for extra warmth- as we don't have heat, electricity or running water- it's camping in a cabin! A firepit awaits to BBQ dinner, or to converse around under the bright starry nights. A private outhouse is a few steps away. Firewood is not provided and it can be purchased through us for $15 per bundle

Totally disconnect at the Raven’s Nest a back to basics rustic tiny cabin tucked away in the trees. The cabin is close to the main residence but completely private with a private gated entrance and free parking a short walk to the cabin. The cabin is heated by a small wood stove and an oil heater, has a small kitchen area and a loft with a queen bed. Please note there is no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse a short walk away. There is no cell service or wifi at the cabin.

Please note: This space does NOT have a working shower in the winter months and toilet is an incineration toilet (directions on use upon arrival) located in the outhouse mere steps away. In summer months please bring your own towels.

Cozy Eco Cabin - Off Grid - Connected to Nature

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

If you are coming to hike, or enjoy the dining and shopping opportunities, Bragg Creek welcomes you! The toilet is a porta-potty (serviced weekly, cleaned between guests) and there is no shower or bath. The cabin is insulated, heated, and there is running drinking water.
