We loved the house, every room has a badroom. Great kitchen. We injoid the swimming pool and sauna. The communication with the LovelyStay was fast and easy.

Wow… Jessica made us feel right at home in their beautiful property. Jessica took the time to show us round and where everything was and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. It is a stunning property with great views out in the Atlantic. A fantastic place to explore the island or just relax and enjoy the warmth and friendliness of the island. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend enough, great outdoor space and fantastic interior design and comfort. Many thanks

This is a beautiful historic home located outside the small town of Camacha, about 15 minutes from Funchal by car. Well set back from the road and area is quiet at night, mild road noise during the day if the windows are open. The home is just as described and pictured in the photos with one exception - the paint is mildewed and peeling off in a small section of the bathroom ceiling. The house was very clean and and during our 2 week stay, we also received one housekeeping visit/linen change with no extra charge. We had no need for A/C, and the radiators kept the house toasty at night. There were dehumidifers in the house but we found it dry and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. No rodent/insect issues. A sweet small dog resides on the property. There is a lovely levada walk in the back of grounds as well. Host responded promptly to all questions. Shopping center with supermarket, laundromat 5 minutes drive. Appliances worked well. We enjoyed it

That was a great stay in Madeira and in Casa do Boto! Hostess Micaela is always available and quickly on site. She is also friendly and gives many good tips. The house itself is clean and equipped with the essentials, the beds are comfortable (mattresses rather soft). The property with the heavenly garden and the many planted pots is a place of well-being for nature lovers. A few disadvantages should also be mentioned: the expressway directly below the garden and the air traffic in the immediate vicinity are sometimes a bit louder. In addition, it is not advisable to drive down the street by car, as everything is very steep here. All in all, a really great experience with Airbnb. 👍

Our stay at this stunning penthouse in Madeira was truly unforgettable. After a stressful experience with a different host, we were in desperate need of a safe and welcoming place—and Jose went above and beyond. Not only was the apartment impeccable with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and city, but the host was also incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He allowed us to check in immediately after booking, which was a lifesaver for our family. We were greeted with warmth and kindness that instantly put us at ease and turned our trip around. The penthouse itself is spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and offers one of the best views you can imagine of the ocean. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality. Highly, highly recommend this place—it truly felt like a hidden gem and a peaceful escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!
