Stayed 2 nights at Allan and Elizabeth’s listing. The place was as per photos and felt very clean and fresh. Host was kind to get the heating turned on for us before we arrived as it was a cold day. We chose this area as it was in close proximity to the massive Chadstone shopping centre and is between Melbourne and Phillip Island (penguins). Overall a very pleasant and easy stay. Do note to request for self check-in if required as we had the host wait up for us and we felt really bad!

A beautiful comfortable apartment. Clean, airy and spacious. Good heating for the Melbourne chilly evenings. We appreciated the thoughtful extra items in the fridge, pantry and bathroom. It felt safe and the street was quiet. Parking at the rear was easy. You do need to access a flight of stairs to get to the front and back doors. We have stayed in many apartments in Kew/Hawthorn over the last 5 years and this is one of the best so far. Thank you Marie and Lex!

Susie's Airbnb was exactly what my mum and I needed for our Melbourne visit and we had a lovely stay. Great location near two train stations, walkable to Carnegie cafes and shops, nice parks nearby. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable and well-provisioned - every time we thought of something we needed, we found it: hairdryer, condiments, cooking equipment, iron, washer/dryer, cereal and milk, extra blankets and towels. The heating worked well, both beds were comfortable, the apartment was in a quiet and peaceful area and was nicely decorated without being cluttered. Highly recommend.

Locations was great as had trams and the train station right nearby to access the City and also Prahan Markets. We loved having the kitchen and all appliances available to cook a meal. Despite being near the train line and a major road there was no noise inside the apartment at all. Loved the little balcony in the morning as well, as we saw some hot air balloons go by one morning. If we come back we’ll definitely stay again!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. So close to everything, big space and a beautiful view! The stairs to get to the apartment were quickly forgotten when we walked in. Beautiful place and very kind and generous hosts!

My now husband and I stayed here for our wedding and the house was absolutely stunning!!! much larger than I expected (e.g high ceilings) so much character, loved every detail and ended up with some beautiful photos with the fireplace and arched hallway ceilings. we did our first look on the porch and it was such a a vibe. everything was clean and Jing was super responsive and helpful, she was able to accommodate what I needed in preparation for the wedding which made the whole experience stress free so our focus would just be focusing on our big day. other than the gorgeous home, we were able to walk to junction to get food and groceries with ATM, chemist, Aldi and Kmart about 10 min walk. quiet neighborhood. Thank you so much! Our photos and videos turned out everything we wanted and more which is due to the overall aesthetic and essence we were after 💖

We really enjoyed our stay at The Chambers South Yarra. Location was great with restaurants and supermarket close by. It was also just a short drive to the city. The home is perfect for families. Min and Ted are amazing hosts! They are very kind and responsive and they made sure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend The Chambers and we look forward to staying here again when in Melbourne!

It was a home away from home. We grew to love the place with the natural lighting, heated floors, piano/keyboard and the deli round the corner. Raymond was also excellent in responding to our queries.

We stay at a lit of Airbnbs and every now and then one will stand out due to the personal touches. We had fresh fruit, 6 large double yoked eggs, bread,milk, butter and the most beautiful fresh cut flowers. The house itself is like being at home. We called it the Tardis as it looked compact from the outside but was huge inside. James was very arrentative and obviously rightly proud of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautiful place, very easy to check into. Bed was soo comfortable! Kitchen had everything needed to cook and bathroom was nice. Street was lively in the day but to be expected given the area but night time was nice and quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend others stay as well. I was staying here for about 3 months for my placement here. It was so so so good. Could’ve never asked for more. The place felt so homely.. leaving the place already make me miss the melb and the home so much. Eliza was really very accommodating, helped us navigate and prepared the house perfectly for us. I came here for a student exchange and was very new to Melbourne but the house made me feel so welcoming and comfortable. I would really highly highly recommend airbnb-ing here if you want a good experience of a peaceful neighbourhood that is also nearing to the city but away from all the busy streets. Eliza is really kind and friendly🥺💕 The place is perfect for family , couples , students or anyone actually.

Loved staying here for a few nights. The kitchen is fully stocked which was helpful to cook at home, great location with cafes nearby. Everything was clean and neat and the space is amazing for the price. The washer and dryer were very handy too. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location with breathtaking views and a warm, welcoming host. Peter greeted us personally on arrival and was very flexible with both check-in and check-out timings, which made our stay even more convenient. I loved this little apartment. The windows looked out onto lots of greenery with an impressive tree that almost touches the balcony. It was clean, easy and with a comfy bed. It was a really cold couple of days in Melbourne and the heating was surprisingly effective and I was really grateful for the electric blanket! I will definitely stay here again!
