We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

The space was beautiful. We loved the decor and the large doors that brought brightness with a view of the beautiful courtyard with the pool. We were very well received by a very good host. What a nice touch! Susana also gave us several restaurant recommendations and the communication was excellent. It took 8 minutes to get to the city center. We found all the essentials to cook well. The accommodation was clean, but I can't ignore the shower. There was mold and personally, despite the scent that had been added, I found the smell of dampness and mold unpleasant. Everything else was impeccable!

We felt very comfortable with Patricia, her dad Carlos was always there for us and super likeable. We were also able to contact Patricia at any time. The location of the accommodation was perfect for exploring the city and for excursions, the view is breathtaking. We are very grateful for such a wonderful accommodation and can give a ♥️ recommendation. Thank you dear Patricia

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

Fantastic place at a great price. So many spaces to enjoy. Pristine condition. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and bars up the hill, amazing atmosphere. Very close to main roads so day trips are easy. Carlos was the perfect host, so many local recommendations and information. He was flexible when we wanted to check in some hours earlier than agreed. All the different keys were a bit confusing but otherwise loved the place.

Excellent host, very friendly

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! It’s quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed. Be aware that, at least for us, there is nothing nearby walkable (resto, bar, groceries) and you always need the car! Lauren is a great host, super responsive, super kind, and her place was just perfect for us, being surrounded by nature and most of the time the only thing you hear is the river nearby. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, peaceful and spacious outdoor area for a wonderful Madeira stay! Out of the hustle and bustle of the beach towns and nestled in your private oasis but still within a few minutes of snack bars, groceries and trails! Thank you Hugo!

Overall we had a great stay (8 nights) at Sofia's apartment. We loved the ocean view and the remote aspect, although the street that leads to it gets very busy (even more than we thought) during the day due to the nearby Anjos waterfall which, on occasion, can make parking a bit difficult (the apartment doesn't come with a parking sport so, as others mentioned, you need to park on the street). The check-in went smooth as the directions Sofia provided us were clear and easy to follow. Inside, the apartment is spacious, the 2 bathrooms were a big plus for us, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed is very comfortable, though we switched the pillows and used the small pillows from downstairs as the main ones were a bit too big/stiff for us, after this change we slept great every night. The surroundings are silent, the only thing you hear are the ocean and the water running to the next-door banana plantation. We had a great time, Sofia was very kind, and we recommend this house!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

Comfortable and very functional apartment located in Ponta do Sol, very well located for visiting the island. Accessible by car only Fanny was impeccable. She lives above the rented apartment. We did not test the very nice pool which was at a good temperature but in the shade at the end of the afternoon when we returned. On the other hand, breakfast in the sun facing the sea view

Everything was perfect! The host was super friendly. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the place was clean and exactly as described. When we had a small issue, the host responded quickly and solved it right away. Check-out was just as easy. Would definitely stay again!

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Richard warmly welcomed us and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave us tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.
