A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house has been recently renovated and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and the surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Sintra Mountains, to the Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the hiking trails of the Sintra Mountains and its monuments and close to good restaurants , cafés with a good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your peace of mind. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the mountains like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise on the best restaurants in the area. Malveira da Serra, a picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking routes in the Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I recommend using your own car.

This villa was amazing on every level. We travelled as a three family group with children and infants. The pictures do not do it justice. The view is amazing and the house is designed around it. The house was pristine in every way and Susanna was an amazing host. She could not have been more helpful - catered to our every need. We loved the daily clean, the pool speakers and the heated pool. We loved that the kitchen was organised and provided a huge variety of equipment (we love to cook). We used the BBQ - a refundable deposit needed to ensure it was clean (not an issue). The supply of pool towels and toys was a lovely touch too. This villa was a fantastic base for a day visit to Lisbon. A car is 100% needed but close driving distance to shops/places to eat/beach (within 30 minutes). We would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone without hesitation.

We've had 10 wonderful days! The house is comfortable, it was impeccably clean and had everything our family needed to feel at home. The terrace with those clear views is priceless, where we enjoy quiet dinners and spectacular sunsets. Perfect location to visit the entire region (Lisbon, Sintra, Óbidos, Peniche...). In addition, our dog enjoyed the space as much or more than we did. Communication with Maria Inês and her father was excellent from the first moment, always attentive and kind. A 100% recommended place, we will definitely return! Thank you very much for everything.
