Very spacious and comfortable place. The house has everything one needs. Check-in at the gate might be a bit complicated (we entered and exited quite often, so we needed new codes a couple of times), but other than that all was perfect. Would come again.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at Eden. A warm welcome from the host Camilla. The accommodation was terrific, and the beautiful garden with a large pond truely made it Eden. Riebeek Kasteel is an amzing town, especially for food and wine. We'll be back!!

All round lovely! The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful! The views are out of this world and it is sooo close to everything! Will definitely be returning! Very elegant spot, you feel like you are in literal Paris.

We had an amazing stay, the views of the dam were breathtaking. The house was clean and the splash pool was the highlight for the kids! I love that each bedroom had its own full bathroom. Alison is a great host.

We would highly recommend Jacques' accommodation. It was just a pleasure!! We didn't know about loadshedding, the air conditioning in the rooms was a big bonus in hot Paarl. Jacques regularly communicated with us and made recommendations regarding attractions as well as restaurants, to which we also followed his recommendations and were not disappointed. Thank you to Jacques and his family, we would definitely make use of your accommodation again.

What a fantastic home in the centre of Stellenbosch, every room so beautifully appointed and so many welcoming details from wine and orange juice to rusks and muesli. A total local gem that was very chic, we wished we had more time!

This stay was perfect for our group of 7 - even more space than we needed. The house and property are unbelievably beautiful, and it was so relaxing. It’s a relatively easy uber into town, while having privacy and space for your stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, making everything easy. Definitely recommend!

Overall had a great stay for our wedding party. The unit is split into two, with one side being for guests and the caretaker on the other side - but the caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. The quiet hours are strictly 10pm, as the neighbours will complain, but noise can be moved inside with all the doors closed after that, but the hosts try to be as accommodating as possible. Overall, had everything it needed and was clean and accessible.

The house was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Adri was friendly and assisted when needed. The estate is beautiful, safe and has lots to do. The golf carts were a bonus. We really enjoyed going for drives in the afternoon.

Simply put this was sublime. Not only does the property reside in what has to be one of the most beautiful private estates, but the property is stunning and you’d think you were the first guests to stay there. The property has an astonishing view that I don’t think many Airbnbs could compete with. The place is deep cleaned nearly daily and we were made to feel at home and special. Small touches were noticeable such as toiletries and kitchen goods. You are moments from some of the most beautiful wineries in the world and stones through from Stellenbosch itself. The property is in a secure gated estate which gave us a real sense of safety, not that we consider the area worrying at all (as it isn’t) but we brought our infant daughter with us so all worries are heightened. No such worries necessary here. I would love to say horrible things about this place, if only to ensure it would be available next time we come. We even extended our stay as couldn’t bear to leave.

Second time staying here with a group of friends. It’s beautiful and very well appointed! Smoke space for everyone to feel like they had their own corner, but enough areas for intimate conversations and group gatherings.

We stayed one night and really wish we were staying longer! The house is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the eating and drinking options in the village. Joe and Esther are friendly and provided great suggestions. We enjoyed our stay and if we come back to South Africa in the future this is on our list to return! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is a beautiful, spacious house which provides luxury accommodation. Each room has own bathroom and the bedrooms are beautifully appointed. The living space is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and then lastly the veranda is a perfect extension to the living space, with a lovely garden and great views. This is our second stay and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to Riebeeck Kasteel.

We had a wonderful stay at Britta and Adriaan's place. The house is exactly as described and is a perfect place for a summer family vacation. The star of the show is the outdoor area. There are multiple places to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. Indoors, there is plenty of room for a family (or two) to spread out. Britta and Adriaan were also very responsive and communicative; it was clear they wanted us to enjoy our stay, which we did!

Beautiful surroundings, spacious villa Well equip kitchen with everything needed. Beds are comfortable, with fresh clean linen. Would like to stay at the other kleine windpompie accommodation. Peaceful with a stunning view. Recommended for big families.
