Michael and Nan are thoughtful, generous hosts. They communicated clearly with us about the special needs we expressed, and provided clear instructions in person, written in the suite and over the app. We would be happy to stay again, wishing only that the suite were closer to where our family lives.

This has to one of the best (if not the best) Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! The suite and property truly exceeded our expectations and was the perfect relaxing and cozy home away from home to return to after a long day of exploring the island. The grounds of the property are stunning and very well maintained. Joanne and Tim were so hospitable, providing clear instructions on how to get there and a thorough list of local restaurants, cafes, and excursions to explore. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extremely relaxing and zen stay on the island!

Very clean, quiet, spacious, peaceful, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped and stocked with what we needed. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Having a private BBQ and outdoor seating area and swing was also a nice bonus !! we saw tons of birds and deer that even came into the yard. very cool. The private suite is in a great location for visiting sooke, and a short drive to the beautiful Juan de fuca beaches and hikes. very great value for the place, we all agreed that we would stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kelly’s suite by the sea! The space was even better than we expected - appears to be recently renovated with modern finishes, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Kelly was super responsive, helpful, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay!

I stayed here before and decided to come again with other travelling companions. The location is beautiful. The home is a beautiful space with everything we needed, including a wonderful view. With the big windows, we could see robins building their nest under the home’s balcony while also being able to watch eagles flying by over the water. Sharon was responsive with texting even though she was away during our stay. There is a nearby small commercial space with two food trucks serving excellent food if you want a respite from cooking. We could either choose to eat there before driving out of the area for the day, or to stop off for dinner on our way back. I highly recommend Sharon’s place if you are looking for a rural oceanside getaway.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

This is a very quiet, secluded space in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed and the host was responsive and accommodating.

We stay in a lot of Airbnb properties around the world and this has been a favorite stay. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. The exceptional garden, patio seating, high quality appliances and well-appointed kitchen stand out. Super quiet neighborhood and great base for exploring to the west and avoiding traffic jams during rush hour. However, still close to downtown Victoria. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

With an extraordinary view and a great location, we highly recommend Susan and James‘s place for your next retreat when in Victoria. As you head to the city, be sure to stop by Royal Bay Bakery for pastries and coffee!

They stay at Li’s place was very comfortable. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Just what we needed for a quick stay in Victoria.

We had a great stay here, and felt like we were right at home. They had everything we could need and more. Tons of things to entertain our kids and the hosts are extremely helpful. they responded super quickly when we messaged them. They even left a high chair and a pack and play for our baby. We would love to come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.

Good location in a quiet residential area a bit outside of Victoria. The appartment was clean and has everything you need. Julie was friendly and even available to help us when we had a question at night.

You will not regret staying here!! Beyond impressed with the thought and attention to detail that’s gone into this space to make it the perfect spa experience. I loved the self-led spa activities throughout the suite, and felt like a better human when I left this Airbnb. More than a place to stay, it’s a whole spa experience that feels like a true bed and breakfast experience. Very comfortable and soft bedding and blankets. Loved the bath, the hottub was so clean and the Hottub check was so fast! This was my 52nd airbnb experience, and easily within my top 5 favourites! :) Would LOVE to come back!!

I had a great stay! The listing (including the view) was just as described and Laura and Thomas were very responsive and friendly. They also had lots of great recommendations that really enhanced my stay. I would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. Thanks again for a great stay, Bonnie and Dave!

I stayed for a long birthday weekend with my best friends. I just wanted to read on the deck but we spent a fair amount of time enjoying the birds and the lovely view of the mountain tops. Host decorated the home with little signs to welcome you and an instruction manual. Host offered e-bikes which I loved the option but we didn’t end up using them. Host was also very nice with oddly put questions and making sure we got all the information needed, they also always checked in when we walked past them!
