Chateau de Barrail was an amazing find, we had a fantastic weekend, plenty of space for everyone, rooms were huge and all very comfortable. We’d definitely return. Michel who greeted us was very helpful and on hand for anything we needed. Highly recommend

Claire's home is quite spectacular & certainly has the wow factor from the interior, beautiful decor, views to the setting at the foot of the castle. It all felt very special. We were a party of 13 adults but more than enough space as the layout & different areas of the house enabled us to spread around, almost making it difficult to choose where to spend most time! Sunsets from the terrace were stunning & colour changing castle good fun. The house is super well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen gadgets & plenty of crockery - great for self catering as we did. Ample parking & really easy access into the small town of Duras - walkable in a couple of minutes & everything else you might need a short drive away. Claire was friendly & helpful from the outset with good communication that was 3 way with Florence who greeted us & was our friendly go to whilst there. We had 1 or 2 minor issues but Claire was quick to help so didn't spoil our fabulous week. Would highly recommend!

Myself and 6 friends had the most wonderful stay at Fred’s place. As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings of row after row of vineyards in your back garden! The pool area, bbq , hot tub and outdoor furniture were all high quality and just perfect for lounging outdoors and eating bbq’s in the sun. The hot tub was especially useful as the sun went down. Inside the house is very spacious, the kitchen & equipment is high quality, the ice machine was a life saver for cold drinks. Each bedroom is large, own bathroom facilities and private so perfect for sharing with friends. We used the gym it was fab. Fred is a fantastic host , showed us around the house, then was on hand if we needed anything at all. He certainly went above and beyond organising private transfers to our restaurant one evening ! Thank you Fred and wife for an amazing stay in a fantastic , beautiful & peaceful environment.

Un séjour Enchanteur et Ensoleillé à la Villa julorian "Nous avons passé un séjour absolument charmant à la Villa julorian chez Élodie et Julien. La maison est vraiment très jolie, décorée avec goût et offrant un cadre très agréable. L'emplacement est tout simplement parfait, surtout pour les amateurs de vin.! avec La proximité de nombreux châteaux. La piscine a été un vrai plus pour les enfants en plus elle était chauffé, très appréciable pour se détendre et se rafraîchir. la terrasse avec le brasero et le soleil ☀️ ☀️ nous ont permit De passé un moment très agréable. hôte très accueillant et disponible nous recommandons vivement ce logement !

Het huis van Janie en Hugh is een gezellige thuis. Alles wat je nodig hebt om je voor een tijdje onder te dompelen in een relax modus is aanwezig. Janie is een super lieve gastvrouw die precies wist welke tips we nodig hadden. Ondanks het wisselvallige weer hebben we erg genoten.

We were a family group of 7 adults and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house was just as described in beautiful Dordogne region and was extremely well equipped, particularly in the kitchen/dining room. The pool area was lovely with plenty of chairs/loungers. We visited several local towns, markets and wineries with excellent recommendations from Pierre. He and his family were welcoming & friendly, even inviting us for a drink with them one evening. We hope to return - still so much to see!

Séjour absolument parfait à l’occasion d’un mariage dans la région. Je ne saurais comment remercier Marion pour son accueil et sa bienveillance. La maison est très agréable et vraiment adaptée pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis.

Dans un cadre magnifique la suite aux prestations soignées et équipements de qualité. Piscine très agréable chauffée avec choses longues. Dans un château entouré de vignes et vue dégagée sur l’environnement de verdure et forêt. Petit-déjeuner copieux pris sur la terrasse avec vue sur la piscine. Merci à Patricia qui s’est occupée de nous à merveille.
