My sister, my dad and I stayed two nights while in the area to visit family. St. Marys is a lovely town and this was a wonderful place to stay! Down to the details of furnishings and interesting, eclectic touches, this place is cozy and peaceful. I love the live plants! The bathroom is huge and wonderful, the bedrooms are all different, beautifully done and so comfy. The coffee shop across the street and the general store down a few doors were the icing on the cake! Thank you Daniel for a wonderful stay!! We’ll be back and have already told family and friends about it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another Wonderful Stay! This was our second time staying at Scott’s Tall Grass Lodge, and it was just as perfect as the first. We loved being able to walk around the pond and soak in the peaceful surroundings. A few storms rolled through during our visit, and it was actually a treat to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain—so relaxing! The lodge was incredibly clean and, as always, very accommodating. Scott is a great host and we’ll definitely be back again.

A five star stay! Plenty of space and very well-maintained. Tiffany was responsive and clearly has put effort into making the house a comfortable place to stay. Plenty of towels, toiletry basics available, laundry detergent provided. Good water pressure in the shower. Comfortable bed, room stayed dark, and very quiet. The driveway parking was a breeze, backing out is no problem because the street isn't busy. Huge TV in the living area! This is a great place to stay in Topeka, I definitely recommend.

This home is clean and as described, historic with charm and minimal decor. The fenced in yard was great to have for our dog. The location is right on the main street for downtown, which we didn’t realize and there is traffic and neighborhood noise quite late. All that to say, we were only there for one night on a weekend. The noise and neighborhood aren’t the house’s fault. It was a well cared for place to stay and right near the interstate, which is what we needed.

When I got there I was exhausted so I neglected to read everything they had to read. Ì was cold and didn't I know how to turn the AC up so I called Aaron. He was super nice and patient with me, and told me how. Afterwards I read everything and it was all typed up how to do it. Instead of saying it's all on paper he just told me how. I felt like he was a super great guy and Iwas very impressed.
