Cabin holiday rentals in Caribbean

Wow. Words cannot describe how perfect this accommodation was. It was our first time in Costa Rica and we wanted to stay in the lush jungle while being close to the city. This place has EVERYTHING we needed. The cabin was gorgeous with a river running behind the cabin right under the balcony. The grounds were beautifully kept and it felt like I was in the jungle. The gym was also well equipped with a beautiful waterfall to look at to accompany your work out. Such a peaceful getaway. I’ve stayed in many air bnbs in many countries and this one was the best so far. David has the cutest dogs, Gordito and Loquito, who helped us checked in and would walk around the property- they are so cute! Thank you for hosting us.

This is the most ideal place to stay to disconnect from the world and connect with nature . Host are amazing. It’s so private . Make sure to take food and everything you need for the stay . It’s hard to get in and out kinda scary .

This place is a real hidden gem. The cabin is cozy, private and has everything you need to disconnect: pool, jacuzzi, hammock, fire pit… and a river just steps away! Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was super easy. Everything was clean, well cared for and full of rustic details that make it even more special. Ideal for a romantic getaway. I'd come back a thousand times! 🌿✨

We loved our stay at Magdalena’s house. It was like a private tropical paradise and Magdalena is the perfect host. Max planned our excursions for us and was SO helpful. The house was lovely but the backyard was amazing. The house features a wrap around porch with a comfy couch and chairs and large outdoor dining table. There is a separate large outdoor kitchen area with grills, additional seating and a hot tub. The infinity pool is steps away. The view from all vantage points is breathtaking and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean with rain showers and plenty of hot water. The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool. Esmeralda came daily and even did our dishes and laundry. The house is a 40 minute drive to the Arenal area. The main roads into La Fortuna were well maintained. The drive was long but easy. Shopping was a bit of a challenge but there are local “supermarkets” and a Maxi Pali in La Fortuna. Enjoy!

Excellent stay in Saintes with Max and Cathy. We enjoyed the hot tub. As we already know the island, we chose this accommodation near the port so as not to need a car. There are many restaurants and shops. We'll be happy to go back. A great place for lovers.

Listen use google maps for this one, trust me. This is an amazing place and the host some of the best in Costa Rica. Do not hesitate for a moment. It was one of my favorite stays.

We stayed one night. More would have been ok too, there is much to discover around it. From the terrace, we were able to watch a fishing cucan and other birds. It was very idyllic. Very quiet location (only nature can be heard). If you don't have a 4x4, you prefer to park upstairs and do not drive down to the house.

This was such a great first stop on our costa rica trip! It was an easy and beautiful drive from the San Jose airport. We had clear and helpful directions and the views were amazing. We would absolutely stay again! Our kids loved the play house, swings, and (although it scared mama a little) they loved the hammock off the master. The master bed was super comfortable and all the windows had stunning views. Loved it 🫶🏼

Place is very beautiful, and DO take advantage of the nearby beach - it's hard to spot but it's really easy to get to and is only a 10 min walk. Cons: the stone staircase leading to the house might be hard for some people with disabilities to climb - it was no problem for us, but if you are physically disabled, I suggest mentioning it to the host so that they can prepare a solution. I also felt a bit overwhelmed with the volume of daily messages from host, but on the flip side, they were always available for questions and would reply almost immediately. Overall the place is exactly how it looks on the pictures and the cook Katia was fabulous. We ran out of food on our last day and Katia's husband graciously offered to shop for us, which was a very nice surprise and greatly appreciated. 10/10 would come back.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, without hesitation the most beautiful in the whole region of Vinales. The photos do not do justice to the magic of the place. The on-site service was really amazing, we ate wonderfully well with very (too?) generous meals.

The place is beautiful, the location is quite good, lots of green space and all the facilities to have a pretty good stay! The hosts were quite communicative and made sure that everything went well. Thank you very much for everything!

I loved staying at this special cabin near Monteverdi. As soon as we stepped through the door I felt at ease, it was clean, spacious and both the rooms had perks so there was no fighting over which room to have! With it being on the side of a mountain, the views were spectacular and I particularly enjoyed watching the humming birds at the bush right outside the place. It felt like a peaceful, safe haven to wake up in - my morning practice looking over the mountain was mega! and the peaceful surroundings felt gorgeous. Getting to the place was a little confusing as the maps didn't pin the correct house but once we got over that hurdle, it was wonderful. I let Pablo know this and he said he'd get this fixed asap. One thing to note, the second bedroom is up a steep ladder. I stayed there with a friend and would definitely return. It's about a 10min drive out of Monteverdi which I liked and such a lovely space to come back to in the evening. The photos don't do it justice. Mucho Gusto

This is my second trip to Louise’s beautiful farm. Her cottage was a deciding factor in choosing to return to Antigua over visiting other islands! I agree with the other reviewers who have already mentioned: Louise’s place is easily the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything works perfectly and the kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need to cook-up a feast. The cottage is nestled on a hill in a forest. It’s the perfect tranquil environment to relax and get back to nature. Louise is also the best host I have ever stayed with. She responds promptly and gave some fantastic local recommendations for beaches. Louise even stocks the fridge with a few things to cover you for dinner the first night and breakfast the next morning. Her homemade pasta sauce and marmalade were such a treat! Highly, highly recommend. I am already looking forward to coming back for a 3rd stay.

Words can't explain how perfect this location is. Yes the cabin is as beautiful as it looks! Completely private with more than enough space for a couple to enjoy their time. My finance loved it. Only a 20 minute drive to Crash Boat, and the scenic drives in the mountains were a cherry on top. Book while you can!

This is an exceptional fantastic place ! Beautiful and stunning. Celebrating our honeymoon there was amazing. Obed is a fabulous host - responsive and helpful, very friendly. We will be back ! Unforgettable place.

I had my eye on Terryon’s place for a really long time. My excitement was indeed satisfied. As a city girl who loves and prefers the countryside, this was prefect for me. After a long day of Kingston’s traffic once I came through the gates of her property it was like a brand new day has started. Both the exterior and interior design nothing short of amazing. A property you’d have to experience yourself.

We’ve spent a few days in this beautiful cabin. The place is spotless clean, very modern and new amenities, the quietest fan and AC! Also, you can find everything in the cabin - from iron, ice in the freezer to juicer / blender if you fancy a smoothie. Car par available, however the cabin is in a walking distance to La Fortuna town but set up away from the crowds. North Fields coffee and chocolate tour is around the corner too. Again, lovely walk and we’ve spotted toucan and other birds on our way there. We didn’t have a car, and drivers didn’t have any problems with finding the cabin to pick us up when needed. So many birds are all the time in the garden! It was amazing to seat with a coffee or beer and watch hummingbirds feeding on the flowers. And the volcano view from the window, magnificent! German and the family are amazing, very lovely and helpful! We’d love to stay at the cabin again in the future, great base for Costa Rican adventures 😊

Kely is one of the most lovely host there's! Her place is so sweet and calm, really close to nature and so peaceful. I felt very confortable and secured from the first night. I really recommend to try this lovely home and I'm sure you will fall in love with this place as I did.
