Holiday rentals with beach access in Carvalhal

Perfection! This place was perfect in every way -- the location, the comfort, the cleanliness, the hosts. Just a one minute walk from the front door until your feet are in the ocean! The hosts are impeccable with their cleanliness and upkeep of the apartment, as well as providing detailed information about the sites in the area. They showed us how everything worked upon arrival, and when we were leaving, even helped us with our bags, and getting into the Uber. They provide chairs, umbrellas and towels for the beach. The bed, chair, and sofa were all very comfortable. The shower/water pressure is great. Open all the windows and enjoy the view and let the breeze in, just wonderful! Don't miss the bakery just a few minutes walk up the stairs, turn right, then a left....warm rolls in the morning along with many other sweet and savory treats. And, delicious gelato, just across from the front entrance of the apartment. A wonderful, relaxing vacation, thank you so much!

We enjoyed our visit to Cascais. The apartment is in a great spot, very close to everything and restaurants were a 3 minute walk away, but not so close that you could hear any commotion. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful day & night(I’m a light sleeper and had no issue) Bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Washer and Dryer was a huge plus. I enjoyed terrace in the evening w/ a glass of wine, thank you Ricardo!! Our fav restaurants were Mana & Cantina Clandestina both run by same owner, but food was very good and the mixed drinks and staff had us coming back. We took an Uber to Guincho Beach, it was beautiful beach, prepare for wind! I would def stay at Home in Cascais and would return. Great stay for 2 people, maybe 3, if a child under 10? Thank you, Ricardo for being a great host who’s communication is very fast.

Carla is a great host , responsive caring. i would highly recommend it!! i know sesimbra so not surprisingly the accommodation is very well located , those who love sunset that you will love it! special mention for bedding , very good quality and even for children!!

The apartment is located directly on the beach promenade of Sesimbra and has a wonderful view of the sea. Accessibility by car was very good as a large garage in the building is available. The apartment is beautifully furnished, complete and clean. Since we only spent one night here (due to delays), we had no opportunity to explore the surroundings and the old town. However, our impression was very positive, so we will plan more time for a new visit here. Last but not least, the communication with Tiago was simply great.

This was such a lovely place to stay. The Airbnb was beautiful, clean and had anything and everything we could possibly need. João was super friendly and quick to respond. He had many great recommendations as well! The neighborhood was safe, peaceful and had everything in walking distance! We would love to come back again someday and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

An absolute gem! The view is breathtaking! Airbnb is equipped with everything you need! Petter is a friendly and overall great host! If you are traveling with young kids this is your go to spot! Not only kids can run around but pool is so great that there is a lot of shallow area for them to play in! We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to be back soon!

Just like the photos, beautiful view and sounds of the waves. Excellent location close to the beach and cafes/restaurants. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen and we appreciated the beach towels and umbrella to use! Views from the terrace are stunning and we enjoyed sitting up there during the day and evening. We had a hire car and were able to park 500m away. We loved the apartment and sesimbra!

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

Bruno and Rita were wonderful hosts, very patient with us and helpful at every turn. The place itself is great - comfortable and a very short walk from the centre of town. The sunset views were stunning. Would definitely stay again.

Paulo was quick to respond to my communications. The villa was beautiful with lots of extras to enjoy a home from home. We loved the peacefulness of the garden & the birdsong . My iPhone would not direct me to the address & I discovered that if you use maps to direct you to Camping Fetais, you are very close to the road leading to the home.

João’s house is right in the middle of Comporta, in a row of similar houses. It looks adorable before you even enter! We had a great stay, which felt like home. So easy to walk to local cafes, shops and restaurants; the beach is walkable over dunes and through pines - most of it on a boardwalk. It’s a beautiful house, in beautiful surroundings and we hope to come back someday!

Such a special place! The beach house was wonderful to stay in, waking up to that view and the children being able to run down to the sea was amazing. The beach house was very clean and just as described and the host very helpful & responsive. The host also recommended the local restaurant and what to get so we had gorgeous grilled fish delivered to the house each night. One of my most favorite holidays, we can’t wait to come back.

We spent a week at Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and with heated pool, new foosball, yoga mats, the ping pong table and the barbecue there is plenty to do even without excursions. But given the beautiful, quiet nature (occasionally the dog barking a little annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a pity to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (until the small shop in the village that offers Essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

Luis's apartment is the best. The truth is that it is well located, in front of the beach, you are a maximum of 20 minutes by Uber from the center of Lisbon, you have supermarkets nearby and also a sushi restaurant right next door that is amazing. So when they return to Lisbon, Luis's apartment is the place.

Lovely stay. Sonia met us on arrival And was very helpful checking us in. Apartment had a lovely view. Was a steep walk back from the beach but we didn’t mind this but just keep in mind. There are some great restaurants near by. We reccomend tacos pexito for a chilled lunch, and Casa Mateus or O bagel for dinner. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

This is a lovely well equipped 2 bed apartment in the Bairro do Rosario suburb of Cascais. Communication with the host was excellent and the garden and pool area are a real bonus. It is a 15 min walk to de Inferno and a good 35 min walk into the centre of Cascais. However there are bus stops close by to the apartment which have regular timetables. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by at Casa de Guia, and the Ophelia cafe on the next street is lovely for breakfast whilst the sacolinha bakery at the end of the street is excellent. The small supermarket at the end of the street is good for small amounts, the large Pingo Doce 5 mins walk away has a much larger selection. A very relaxing stay

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.
