Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Carvoeiro

This villa was beautiful! Had everything we were looking for as a group of friends on holiday. The pool was lovely and the house was nice and clean. Walking distance to town and the beach was a bonus. Matthijs was also a great host - responsive, friendly, and helpful!

We spent 8 wonderful days in the villa "Casa vista do mar" - a real paradise. You immediately feel comfortable, surrounded by pure nature with breathtaking views. The vacation home is well equipped, nothing is missing. Thanks to Tobias' directions, the journey from Faro airport was easy. Andrea was at our side on site and provided us directly with information about restaurants, shopping and excursion destinations. We were able to unwind wonderfully and recharge our batteries. The tranquility, the view and the loving care made our stay unforgettable. We recommend this holiday home without reservation and already know: We will come back! The villa at Carvoeiro was actually better than the initial pictures on the listing. Lots of room, beautiful kitchen and baths. Outdoor pool area with two big umbrellas, outdoor dining, hammock, plus a conversation set in the shade. Additionally there are two rooftop decks, though we used neither due to heat/sun. Villa is walkable to the beach and many restaurants- there is no need to rent a car. We did, however have a rental car and appreciated the dedicated parking on property and walled/fenced yard. Miriam shared tips and suggestions before our arrival and was prompt in responding to questions before and during our stay. She was welcoming, kind, and understanding. Would definitely recommend this place to family, friends, and anyone else. Would stay here again.

The location of the house is amazing: a few meters from the beach, in a soothing setting. Ideal base for the most beautiful walks in the area along the coast. The house is tastefully decorated and quality materials. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need for a dream stay (impeccable house base, equipped kitchen, bbq, beach towels, etc.) . Stephanie has thought of everything! This home is a perfect beachfront home, but also turns into a soft and warm cocoon thanks to the wood burning stove when the weather is less mild. Stephanie is a perfect host, attentive and always available. Thanks again for everything! Last point: you will find in front of the house 2 delicious restaurants offering amazing grilled fish! It was a dream stay! We leave this house with memories in our heads and we hope to come back soon!

When searching Airbnb for a place to stay in Portugal, Pedro’s property stood out. From our initial enquiry to the day we left Portugal after our 14 night holiday, Pedro was fantastic, always in contact with helpful information or to answer any questions we had. Our stay in Portugal was made more memorable because Pedro was our host and we highly recommend him and his apartment

We spent ten days at the villa as a group of eight and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is undoubtedly one of the villa’s strongest assets: situated directly on the cliffs, it offers impressive views and a peaceful atmosphere. The walk into town takes around 15 to 20 minutes and leads to a variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars - ideal for evenings out without needing a car. The villa itself is well maintained, spacious, and comfortable. It was cleaned twice during our stay, and fresh bed linen was offered, which we appreciated. The house manager was very friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or request. Communication was smooth and uncomplicated throughout. Overall, we found the villa to be an excellent base for our holiday – well located, well managed, and well suited to a group. We would certainly consider staying here again. 👍🏽

Highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to visit Carvoeiro. It’s a 5 minute walk away from the beach and town and also near some of the best restaurants! The apartment itself is very well kept and nicely decorated. Even better than the photos! The complex is quiet and feels safe. We had the pool to ourself on many occasions. Ana was kind enough to leave us a travel cot, high chair and baby bath at no extra cost. We really hope to visit again!

The apartment is very lovingly furnished. It absolutely matches the photos. The location is perfect. We fell in love with this beautiful apartment. We will definitely come back again.

Helder was an amazing guest. The property was perfect for a last minute couple retreat, we hired a car which is advised if you want to easily get to places like albufiera. We attended a lovely local gym called Urban fit for the gym heads and went to a different beach everyday. The inspire bar is run by a lovely family who were more than happy to recommend lovely places to eat and theirs a large Aldi just 3 minute drive down the road or 20 min walk x

Leslie is a lovely host. She was extremely helpful, supported us with local tips, eg with the local car rental. Her place is calm and beautiful. I loved the beaches close to the house. Just amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice , quiet area with 10 min walk to the beach . Nice BBQ balcony area.. 10/10 Recommend

This is the most beautiful house, in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Algarve coast. It is very well-equipped and there are lovely walks, both in the countryside behind and along the cliffs. A very pretty, and not very populated, beach is a five-minute walk and a slight scramble down a cliff path away. Cecilia is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Miriam's home in the Algarve. Just right for our family of 6. Lots of space, both in and outside the home. The location was a great spot to be close to things we wanted to do along the coast - 7 Hanging Valleys trail, Benagil cave, Lagos, and much more. Miriam was a fantastic host. She helped us with local recommendations, and was proactive about making we were ok during the national power outage.

We have just spent 5 days at Paul’s Villa as Grandparents,Daughter, Son-in-law and baby. It was a perfect place with plenty of open plan area. Air Conditioned bedrooms opening out onto the patio which is really nice. Immaculately clean throughout & everything you could possibly require in the kitchen. Outside the Pool is awesome,a fabulous size & clean as a whistle! We opted for pool heating for the baby & really enjoyed that luxury ourselves! Plenty of comfortable seating, shaded areas & sun umbrellas.We made use of the bbq most nights. We ate out twice at the Lighthouse Restaurant a few mins walk a from the Villa which Paul booked for us. Such a nice restaurant, fab food, service & beautiful view. Paul is very friendly, chatty & keen to help with anything you should require. Living across from the Villa he is on hand should you need him

The property is better than the photos portray. Squeaky clean. Fully equipped kitchen with beach and bath towels a-plenty. Perfectly maintained pool was 30’ unheated in mid June 2025. A choice of verandas and seating areas in and out of shade. Well designed and maintained garden/land. Perfect location 10 minutes down to town of Carvoeiro or to beach. Selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Villa is absolutely beautiful exactly like it is in the photos highly recommended, Would definitely stay here again villa is only a few minutes from the town by car. Everything you could possibly wish for in the kitchen, right down to a third fridge in the outside barbecue area. We stayed with friends, as 2 families so eight in the villa and had plenty of room. also separate areas for all of us so it never felt like we was all on top of each other I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here Till the next time 😎

Exceptional setting, quality home with hosts with onions (French expression😂! ) We are fortunate not to have shared the facilities because we were almost alone on the premises: Hammam, Jacuzzi, Massage , pool , Sauna 😍 The Villa is isolated from the rest of the city but ⚠️ be careful there are 2 or 3 additional lodges. In any case Mitchel and Selina are really great, respond quickly to the group's questions, adapt very quickly too and are smiling and full of nice little touches: breakfast several times, welcome beers etc ... Thanks again to them And I can't wait to come back in a few years to see the improvements that have been made to this little corner of heaven 🥰

Honestly, I can’t say enough about Ana on how she went above and beyond to make my weekend celebrating my birthday and bachelorette with my friends special! She went as far as to in on the surprise to ensure that I was completely blown away! The villa is spectacular and my only regret is the number of balloons we left lying around when we left (sorry Ana). The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, great convenient location with a grocery store and cafes nearby. Also wasn’t too far to get to the main strip! I highly recommend booking this gorgeous villa!

What wonderful hosts Agi & Tiago were. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and were welcomed by local gifts and super helpful advice and recommendations. There home is a piece of paradise. Peaceful retreat with stunning views and a lovely pool. Clean and tidy with everything you could possible need, beautifully furnished it was such a treat to stay.
