Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Casa de Oro-Mount Helix

This home is great for families with young children. The provided toys and books were amazing as listed but they also provided kitchen supplies, a changing table, cribs, drying racks, and booster seats which were an added bonus! Our kids loved the yard, toys and activities within the home so much they didn’t want to leave to go to any attractions in the area.

This home was beautiful and perfect for our family’s needs! The community areas and pool/outdoor amenities were dynamite and spacious for all of us to enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful stay in San Diego!

Baker's place was very clean. The house felt cozy, and inviting. Everyone in our family enjoyed the house and the views. Baker, eventhough traveling internationally, still responded to my messages as if he were right next door. Baker and the hosts are extremely polite and answered all of our questions. We felt as if we had lived there for years. One can tell that they have placed enormous amount of time and energy in their project. I can truly appreciate their effort! Thank you again for making our family experience memorable!!

Terrific rental! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. All 12 of us had plenty of room, each family/bedroom had its own bathroom! James and Amanda were incredibly responsive before and during our vacation. They went above and beyond to provide a car seat for our grandson! The home was clean and well stocked with towels, bedding, dishes and kitchen tools. We loved the view, and relaxed on the deck, in the yard, in both kitchens (!), at the pool table,... The location was close to grocery stores and a short drive to planned activities like the zoo, Petco Park, beaches, Balboa Park and so on. We were all comfortable and definitely felt welcomed and cared for by our hosts!!

5 Stars – Beautiful, Peaceful Getaway Near Julian This Airbnb was a fantastic place to stay! We absolutely loved the little town of Julian — it’s a quaint mountain community with a welcoming atmosphere and unique local shops to explore. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the home to the heart of town, which makes it super convenient while still feeling tucked away. What made this stay so special was the perfect mix of seclusion and scenery. You’re far enough from the crowds to feel at peace, but close enough to enjoy everything Julian has to offer. The views from the home are absolutely stunning — you can see for miles across the valleys and mountains. It’s truly a reminder of God’s beauty in nature. The house itself was spacious, clean, and cozy — a perfect retreat for our 10-year anniversary getaway. If you’re looking to escape the hustle of big city life and unwind in a peaceful, scenic spot, this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and quiet area. Our kids were made busy with the toys that were available; they loved it. The backyard view was impressive. The house was plenty big for our family of 6.

We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

I really loved staying here. I would definitely stay here again. close to the beach and food place nearby. The only thing I wish they would change is the couches. They are not very comfortable for relaxing in after a long day. I loved the patio area I opened the door any enjoyed the weather. The only AC unit is in the living room but they do have fans in both rooms.

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped AirBnb. The AirBnb is thoughtfully designed with lots of lux features. It is conveniently located close to activities around the area and had everything we needed to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The family enjoyed the pool, sauna, gym, and spacious kitchen and living areas — something for everyone! It was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer and we noticed there were high chairs, a pack and play, and a stroller for those with younger kids. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. This place was great!! Had a bachelor party with 12 dudes and everyone had a bed or cot to sleep on. Pool and hot tub were perfect and the landscaping was well done. The property in general felt pretty remote as well, which helps with privacy. Overall we were happy with the place and would recommend
