Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Our comfortable, little, self contained flat is in the heart of Millaa Millaa. It's only walking distance to town , Millaa waterfall and Millaa’s golf club .It is quiet and surrounded by fruit trees and native animals. Only 10 minutes drive and you can enjoy a nice meal from the Teahouse , Pub or Mungalli creek Cafe and on your way home enjoy the beautiful waterfall circuit. We live upstairs and are happy to tell where the best hiking , swimming and sightseeing spots are in the tablelands.

The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Calo Jungle Camp

Cozy little huts, one with queen size bed and one with 2 singles, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. Enjoy the sounds of the forest, watch native birds and wander down the path to the little beach fringed with beautiful Calophyllum trees, hence the name Calo Jungle Camp. NOTE: The listing price is for one hut only. If you are more than 2 (up to 4 people) it is an extra $50 per person for the second hut.
