Espaço muito tranquilo, silencioso e agradável. Casa pequena mas muito simpática. Cama de casal tem um colchão magnífico. O acesso à casa é feito por uma estrada de terra acessível mas um pouco longa.

Wir haben unsere kurze Woche sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt direkt am See und man ist weit weg von der Welt. Es gibt noch 2 weitere kleine Wohnungen und 2 Glamping Zelte aber es ist es einfach still und man erholt sich toll. Das Haus ist neu, alle ist sauber und funktioniert, große Fenster für eine gute Aussicht, das kleine Kinderzimmer super praktisch, das Bett mit harter Matratze, die Küche hatte Alles was man braucht. Es war alles sehr sauber. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage (da Solarstrom) aber die haben wir selbst im August nicht gebraucht. Der See vor der Tür ist leider nicht klar, das Ufer Sand/Schlick und mit Wurzeln, aber war ruhig und angenehm warm sodass wir viele Stunden vom Tag im Wasser verbracht haben. Die kostenlosen Kanus, Kajaks und SUPs waren toll für die Kinder und zwei Ausflüge. Am schönsten waren die Morgen: Mit einem frischen Kaffee auf der Terrasse sitzen, den stillen See und einen einsamen Angler beobachten und einfach der Natur zuhören. Wir planen wieder zu kommen!

Nous n’avons fait qu’un court passage chez Dan, mais ce passage nous a donné envie de revenir. L’endroit est beau, simple, silencieux et reposant. Les parties communes sont coquettes, pratiques et bien pensées pour les voyageurs. Les animaux, tout comme les personnes sur place, sont extrêmement sympathiques et accueillants. Dan est un hôte passionné, plein de bon sens, et c’est un vrai plaisir d’échanger avec lui. Nous recommandons vivement de séjourner chez lui mais pas seulement pour une nuit comme nous l’avons fait : plusieurs jours sont nécessaires pour vraiment en profiter.

We had an amazing time. the home is cosey and comfortable. We really enjoyed barbecues on the deck with the beautiful view. The ONLY downside was the big house directly in front of us which took up alot of the view. Other than that we had a great time walking around and paddling on the river. Thanks for having us.

If you come for a very quiet, private place. This is the place to be. The 5 starts are totally deserved because it completely fulfilled our wishes. But don’t expect a kitchen where you can cook for a wedding or a big dance floor in the accommodation. It is a place to live outside in nature. The SUP that Joao provided is a big recommendation. Everything is even better from the water. Do note that the neighbours dog can go off so now and then en that sets off all te dogs in de valley and vice versa 🤣. Not much a problem for us and nothing Joao can do much about. When they go really wild I believe the neighbours takes them inside. Joao is always on standby en very helpful. Thank you Joao for sharing the wonderful place.

We had a lovely stay at the riverside house, beautiful location just by the sea with natur surronding, very quiet place. It is a bit drive to closest supermarket etc so good to plan your stay in advance and bring what you need. But overall very beautiful house in a beautiful surronding and a very friendly host!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

El lugar es precioso, tienes varios sitios por el jardín en los que sentarte cerca del río. También tienes algunos kayaks que te dejan utilizar. La casa es muy acogedora y con buenas vistas, pero no cuenta con calefacción o chimenea por lo que si hace frío te tendrás que abrigar. En la cocina tienes todo lo necesario. La cama es muy cómoda.

Espaço fantástico, acolhedor e perfeito para relaxar. Adoramos e vamos voltar certamente. O Luís foi excelente!
