Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

Relax, Unwind, Recharge in a Stunning, Secluded, Quiet Guesthouse in Bishops Court, Cape Town

This cottage oozes charm and character. It has an open plan feel although a beautiful mahogany screen divides the bedroom suite from the living area. Rose Cottage is a stand alone cottage on an acre property. Guests have access to the exquisitely maintained garden and the private and secluded swimming pool and pool house. There is parking available for one vehicle on the property. The main house is occupied by the owners and two dogs and a cat. There is a full time housekeeper and gardener on the premises.Rose Cottage is only serviced from Monday to Friday for between 11am and 12pm and not on the weekends and public holidays. The cottage is situated in the upmarket, leafy suburb of Bishops Court. Clifton, Kalk Bay, Simons Town, Cape Point, Constantia valley wine farms, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Table Mountain are all on our doorstep as are major shopping malls/restaurants. Bishops court is not close to public transport and guest either hire a car or make use of the ubiquitous Uber taxis. The property is fully alarmed with access to armed response.

Obiekwa Country House is located in the picturesque, quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel; with its wine estates and gourmet restaurants. It is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking an adjoining vineyard. Although it is set in peaceful, rural surroundings, It is a fifteen minute walk to the village square. Interior is light, modern and with a Scandinavian touch. 5-7 minute walk to Bakoven Beach, and 10-12 min walk to Camps Bay beach with all the restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Add a log to the wood stove and curl up on a comfy couch to stay warm and snug on chilly nights. In the morning explore stunning hiking trails, golf courses, wineries, restaurants and all that vibrant Constantia has to offer. We offer guests considerable relief from the effects of scheduled power blackouts (load shedding). Our solar PV panels charge backup batteries which provide emergency power for lighting, WiFi, TV and electronics during blackouts.

Blackwood Studio

A modern and beautifully decorated house, nestled in Hout Bay, with magnificent views of the mountain. This is a great place for singles or a couple. There is a queen bed that sleeps up to 2. Power outages are being experienced by SA but we have tried to minimalise the effect for our guests - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

White Cottage, Bishopscourt

Our cottage is situated in the heart of leafy Bishopscourt. 2,1km from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and 1,6km from Cavendish Square mall. The spacious 2 storey cottage consists of open plan kitchen / lounge, downstairs guest toilet, 2 bedrooms and outside space. We have a shared pool in our garden which guests are welcome to enjoy.
