Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central America

We stayed here for my cousins bachelorette weekend & it was perfect! The house is extremely beautiful & well kept. While here, we really had no reason to even leave the house - not only do they provide a fully equipped kitchen but the location is also close to restaurants that will deliver food right to you. They also provide massages which we took advantage of & everyone loved! We wanted a private dinner & the hosts were able to provide us with a chef, 10/10 (they did end up arriving more than an hour late, but we still enjoyed it). All the rooms & bathrooms were clean - absolutely no complaints. They were very flexible regarding early check in & late check out at an additional cost - most of us had an early flight to ES & a late flight back home so this was definitely very convenient. The transportation offered was also very convenient (with a driver who took us anywhere we wanted to go - we had a planned itinerary). David, the groundskeeper was very hospitable & attentive.

Daiana’s home was wonderful. We only spent 24 hours in Monteverde and we are so glad we chose this house. Our host was accommodating with a late check out, always responsive, the house is well appointed and it was such a beautiful place. Loved our time here! Phenomenal view!

I’ve had to take some time to fully articulate the experience we had. To put it simply, the photos do not do the home justice. The staff is just amazing. We had never been to Montezuma, and, what an amazing town. We had been to Costa Rica before, and if you’re looking for an authentic experience with people you trust, do yourself a favor and stay here. The home speaks for itself. It’s such a special place. Skip the popular & tourist towns and visit here. Amazing.

WOW!!Best view ever!The host goes by “Guy”&is extremely helpful. He gives you so much info about how to get there, what to do in the area, all the details about the house way before check in so you have time to plan if you want. He is always quick to respond. We did everything last min. & it worked out great. His family was in town & my kids were able to take advantage of his soccer practices on the field he made. He does the class for locals for 5Q & free to guest, he coaches in English and Spanish. Our kids became good friends too. They suggested many places & we took advantage of Alicia’s cooking school, we went to her house. They are super sweet &her son can translate to English if needed. They are good friends of Guy. We went to CECAP for lunch &made beaded bracelets. We parked our car in Pana &Guy sent a boat guy to get us. This house is a dream come true!! The gardens &view over the lake &behind the house is breathtaking. Airbnb cook is amazing & nice. Great remote work spot!!!

If I could give 1 million stars I would. We stayed for 8 days in the orange house and this was the most amazing home, amazing location, amazing hosts. Usually pictures look better online than in person, this was the opposite. The pictures on the listing are accurate, but it’s 100000x better in person, Marlin and his wife Claudia were the absolute best hosts. They were helpful, gave advice, suggestions and really helped us have a “locals experience”- Saigon Bay is special. For us it was the perfect location, we rented bikes (he has covered parking with plug ins to charge) We didn’t have any issues, but anytime we needed laundry or to ask anything, they were immediately available. He has the BEST local bug “oil” that you will want and I’m fairly certain every single hummingbird in the world came to our deck daily. The AC in the bedroom worked great, and there are multiple fans throughout the home. They have a fridge with beers, waters, eggs and some other items and offer 5 gallon jug

This house is very beautiful and immaculate in all its areas, and it surpassed any expectations my husband and I had. The view of the ocean was impressive during the day. We loved watching the fog roll in from the ocean and cover the gorgeous hills in the evenings. We found daytime/ night time air temperatures in this location to be cooler than a similar rental we had in the hills of Manual Antonio on the previous days. The grounds and landscaping were extremely well maintained and just gorgeous. The pool was crystal clean, large, and enjoyable. Initially we were concerned about the drive up the hill, but we found the private dirt road leading to the house to be one of the easiest and best maintained roads we had ever experienced in the hills in CR. We felt extremely safe and peaceful during our stay and took many walks outside. As for Stan and Kaileigh, we had the good fortune of meeting them in person. They are two of the most caring and responsive hosts one could ever want to have.

this place was exactly or even better than expected! the view was amazing and you can hear the oceans waves crashing at night which I did not expect! they also helped us line up local activities at good prices. great value

Exactly as described… mountains as your backdrop and panoramic ocean views in front! The pool was amazing. The house was clearly well built and the landscaping is gorgeous. The mountain road was totally doable in our AWD car. We went up and down it several times a day without any issues. When we got there we were very worried about not having AC considering how hot it gets during the day but we were very comfortable with the ceiling fan and the extra fan we found in the laundry room. The breeze really is great at night, especially when it rains. We felt very safe here and it was private despite the other airbnb on the property. The private hike down to the river was unforgettable. The water was perfectly blue. Just bring water and good shoes like they recommend since it was pretty steep. Would definately stay here again and highly recommend!!

Exceptional views of the lake, spacious and clean place for an excellent price. What more can you ask for when visiting a place like this!? Kristin and Graciela (the caretaker) were extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Great studio room located in Marvista. Very close to Flamingo beach. Trails right out your back door and a gym that's only a 4 min walk away. Room had everything we needed for my husband and I. Colleen is a very responsive host and made everything very easy. Would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The property was immaculately clean and pristine, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect close to everything I needed yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The front office staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance when needed. I also truly appreciated the security measures in place; I felt very safe throughout my stay. Evelin communicated with me through the entire stay and I really appreciated it! 10/10 would recommend

Jenny and Clemens’s place is truly magical and an ideal spot for first-timers visiting Lake Atitlán. We instantly fell in love with the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere during our two-day stay. From the start, Jenny and Clemens were incredibly welcoming and responsive. They helped us arrange roundtrip shuttle service from Antigua and even organized a private lancha to reach their home, making everything so easy. Thanks to their great location, we could walk to nearby spots like Casa del Mundo, Isla Verde, and even take a cooking class in Santa Cruz. Getting around by public lanchas were also simple. Just flag one down at the dock, and the drivers know exactly where to drop you off on your return.

Ana is a great host and very responsible, proactive and kind. She resolved immediately an issue with the unit on our arrival. The balcony view of the beach is beautiful. I meet the fishermen and bought huge shrimps during my stay. Highly recommended! $6.00 a pound of shrimps only . Mini market are 10 minutes away - walking or $3 if you use a taxi. Administration staff are very friendly and helpful. Very secure building. Highly recommended to stay in Ana’ unit.

This is a very nice place where to stay, you’ll find everything you need, clean, quiet. Fernando is a super host. I’ll definitly come back!

This place is perfect location, steps from the beach and walking distance to most of the shops, food and light life! The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. They did my laundry for $5 and left it folded, outside of my room the same day. The bathroom was a little small but I didn´t mind. The water was hot. Would no doubt stay here again in Jacó.

Lovely place to stay in great small details. The pool was a beautiful little place to hang out and it's close to everything. The keys were a little tricky coming in but the host was very quick to communicate and help us sort it out. Would love to come back and rent the whole place with family

We just spent 9 blissful nights at Ada’s amazing place. The location is exactly where you want to be in West End and the snorkeling just a few steps from our room was truly unbelievable. Just make sure to wear a buoy (she provides one too) so you don’t get run over by a water taxi. Ada is a super responsive host and gets back to any questions super quickly. She even arranged pick up from the airport for us! Her property manager Angel, is super sweet and helpful. They provide 5 gallon jugs of purified water which is seriously amazing. We went thru one every 2-3 days during our stay. The towels are fresh and fluffy and they even do your personal laundry for free! The only regret you will have staying with Ada is that you have to eventually leave. We hope to stay with them again very soon. Seriously. It’s a perfect vacation and steps from Roatan Divers who I also highly recommend!

10/10 recommend staying at this beautiful airbnb! Just like the pictures! So easy to find and located within walking distance of a lot of restaurants! This was my first international solo trip and I felt nothing but safe at this home! Dora the host was so friendly, she checked in on me and even called me a taxi to take me to the airport when I inquired about it. You won’t regret booking this place! I will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at Soleil! Julie and Sareika were incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations and assistance in booking dinner reservations or finding a taxi. The apartment is beautiful with views of the water, nice grounds and pool. The neighborhood is very safe, a bit outside of the buzz of Montego Bay, which was ideal for us. We will absolutely be back!

Our stay was very easily accessible and had a nice open floor plan! The views of the sunset and the water made it a perfect vacation location!

Great spot, the apartment was perfect with a great view and walking distance to everything. Nolan was excellent and Alba was amazing. If I had a question they both answered in less than 2-5 min and resolved right away. It was our first time to Nicaragua, thank you for making it easy for us and we will be back.

We loved our stay at Purapura, everything was prepared with a lot of attention to detail. The houses are beautiful and there is a nice pool. The communication was always very responsive and Spyros was very nice and helpful. Would definitely visit again!☺️
