Jan’s house was a perfectly funky getaway! The outdoor space was amazing and was a very relaxing place to sit - it felt very secluded and private despite being near town and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Susan and her boyfriend were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. They helped with directions to Yosemite which was very very helpful. Made me feel right at home and very safe. Invited me to eat with friends, made me breakfast and packed me travel snacks. I left wishing I had more time there and as though I had made a new friend.

This is what AirBnb was meant to be. Our stay at Shelley’s felt like an adult version of staying at your grandma’s place for the weekend. Her hospitality, home cooked meals and beautiful doggos made this experience one of a kind. Shelley filled our weekend with horseback riding, cherry picking and puppy playtime. The property is well kept and spacious. The room is intimate and the bed is soo comfy. It’s empowering that Shelley is able to take care of this farm on her own. We’ll be recommending this place to all our friends. If you’re a dog lover in the Bay Area, definitely consider this AirBnb for an unforgettable weekend getaway!

Deborah's place was exactly what I needed: remote, quiet, peaceful. Squirrels, rabbits, wild turkeys wander out side. The accommodations were spacious qnd well equipped. The little thoughtful touches felt like home. The grounds around the house/Airbnb are well maintained and delightful to go sit in different spots for becoming one with with nature. It was a great experience staying in this beautiful old farmhouse full of history. You’ll have your own private room with a bathroom — it’s very charming and full of character. Everything was very clean, and you have everything you need. It was also a pleasure to meet Nancy and William — we had some interesting conversations, but they also respect your privacy. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. The location is perfect for visiting Yosemite, and I’m sure, there are many other interesting places nearby. The farmhouse is easy to find, and parking is also very good.

The house was charming, welcoming, and very comfortable. It was in a great, very quiet, location. The neighbors were all friendly. We appreciated the host's communication and flexibility with check in time. We appreciated that the host left some avocados from their tree for us to enjoy. We'd highly recommend and are excited to return for another visit!

The location was truly perfect -- excellent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Walk to UC Berkeley was about 10 to 15 minutes, to Rockbridge BART was about 20 minutes. Emily was a super nice host and helped me with local tips and informations.

It’s hard to describe how magical Jean and Dave’s place is. The moment you arrive, they great you with a warm pickup and private shuttle to their masterfully crafted log home. From there, you’re escorted to your guest room with a personalized welcome and tour of the home. The surroundings are spectacular and highly recommend if you’re into cross country skiing, snowshoeing or stargazing. As hosts, they are so friendly with helpful recommendations, going out of their way to ensure you’re having a great time. It felt like visiting family- we will be back!

Our stay at Raeanna's house was amazing! the room was clean and spacious. the bed was super comfortable. The door leading out to the side yard was full of trees and water elements. It even had a outdoor shower. It felt great to be connected to nature. Also, the provided water by the bedside and mini fridge in the room was a nice added benefit. Finally, we chatted with Raeanna for a bit in the morning. She provided some tasty breakfast and coffee while sharing stories. It was really great to hear her stories as we're musicians and we have that in common. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely consider coming again if and when we're visiting that way.

Sandor and Giuliana are the best hosts! We loved getting to know them and their sweet dog, Giorgio, and staying in their beautiful home. They made us feel right at home and had wonderful neighborhood recommendations and local history to share.

Everything was exactly as shown in pictures and descriptions. We really appreciated the private backyard area to hang out in at some point each day we were there. There was just he right amount of shade and sun and comfortable chairs to lounge in. The interior was just perfect for us as well, very comfortable and well equipped. The bed and linens were comfortable but maybe just a light blanket in the summer time is all you need as it does get a little warm upstairs. We love the neighborhood (our son lives just a few blocks away) and we took the advice of Laura and got some tacos at Oscars Tacos just down the street. Amazing vegetarian options, especially the sweet potato one. Curbiside for ice cream is always a favorite of ours as well, just a few blocks in the other direction. We would recommend for a stay to anyone considering.

Dawna's place was perfect for our one-night stay. Dawna has very thoughtfully stocked her place with everything needed, and she greeted us when we arrived to give us a personal tour. We also loved having a glass of wine in the lovely backyard beside the fire pit.

Renees place is really unique. She was there to welcome us, gave us a tour in the house and gave us good tips on restaurant near by. She prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. The rooms were very cozy and nice.

A cute spot, private and exactly what we needed for our trip. Emilie was very communicative as well. Thank you for a great stay!

I don't know where to start but I will tell you in the first sentence that we will definitely stay with Dana again if we are in the area! A friend and I traveled to a wedding and Dana's place was closest to the venue. It was a perfect location for us and it was available (so many places were booked already). We love animals and we were excited to be staying on a farm. The listing is comfortable and separate from the animals however if you want to see the animals, the Host can help you with that. Host Dana made our stay very comfortable and went above and beyond our expectations. We really just wanted a comfortable bed and a chance to see some animals, but she made it so much more of a great experience. The breakfast that Dana made was great and she took our allergies into consideration while making it. I cannot recommend her listing enough! Good hospitality and attention to detail can be a rarity these days...just not for Dana.

Amazing location for accessing Yosemite coupled with the beautiful property itself. The Glacier room is on the far end of the property and feels most private, it also has a outdoor globe that would be lovely to relax in(we didn’t as it was very warm out). The bed is the comfiest we’ve ever had in an Air BnB. Takes about 30 mins to drive to El Portal, and another 30 to get to Curry Village. We left very early to access the park so the breakfast that was prepared by Horizon in advance was a great touch, and very welcome. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for accommodation to either access Yosemite, or for just a place to unwind and relax

Alex and Nuby are wonderful hosts. The house is comfortable with an ideal location for great hiking and local attractions. Our kids loved the pool and the open floor plan.

Darcy's and Nick's is a true b&b in the old-school sense. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous, home-cooked breakfast every morning. The breakfast selection changed every day. As guest Dave-from-Bozeman wrote, Darcy bakes awesome sourdough bread, and it was freshly out of the oven for us to enjoy when we arrived. So, our stay started out on a high note (which was sustained throughout the stay). The space is clean, artfully decorated, comfortable, roomy, and the area is quiet. The location is great: about 1/2 block from Golden Gate Park. The hot tub on the upper patio was a delightful place to relax after long walks around the city. Darcy is the ultimate host (Nick was out of town, so unfortunately we did not get to meet him): she communicates quickly and clearly, and she is a great conversationalist. By the time we checked out, we had become friends with her. This was a 5-star stay in every aspect, and we look forward to our next stay at Darcy's and Nick's!
