The modern entertainer

We had two families stay for a week. The home is spacious and well laid out. The outdoor entertaining area is perfect and so is the pool. Chris gave us a good run down how to work everything. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing home away from home.

Absolutely! Here’s your 1000-character (exactly) Airbnb review for Sheila’s property: ⸻ Clean, quirky and full of charm, Sheila’s place was the perfect retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with ever-changing views across peaceful farmland and a stunning tree that became our daily weather-watching companion. The bathroom was a highlight—an excellent shower and a deep, luxurious bath with a view to the open sky. At night, the stars were spectacular—some of the clearest views of the Milky Way we’ve ever seen. So quiet, so tranquil. Inside, a wonderfully eclectic selection of books made it easy to lose hours reading and knitting while rain softly fell outside. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Sheila was warm, helpful and made us feel truly welcome. This was an ideal base for exploring the region—Maryborough, Castlemaine, Bendigo, Ballarat, Clunes and Daylesford were all within easy reach. We looked forward each day to returning to this peaceful haven.
