Cabin holiday rentals in Central Kootenay

Couldn't be happier with our stay. Quiet and clean, the house was warm and inviting, with everything that myself and my fellow guests needed to make nice meals. Very much looking forward to booking with Bev and Alan again. Thanks for such a great weekend!

This was our second stay at Sri' airbnb. Her and her husband were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is private and close to the beach. We were able to have a campfire which we also enjoyed. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We would highly recommend this place and would stay again.

My family and I spent a long weekend at Olivier’s place. He’s been a great host and we had a wonderful time staying at this wonderful property! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, hiking or exploring the true beauty of BC!

The pictures made it look a little more isolated then I expected and the neighborhood was pretty cluttered, but overall beautiful location with a cozy little cabin and great views.

The view from the hot tub exceeded our expectations and was the highlight for us! This cabin was peaceful and cozy and just a short drive to the ski resort. The bed was so comfortable as well. Would be crowded for 4 people and the hot water tank might be too small for 4 but we were just two and it was perfect. Looking forward to coming back!

When we arrived here, our expectations were exceeded. This house is very spacious and clean with all the necessities You need especially in the kitchen. We stayed here with the purpose of doing day trips to Banff which is a 1.5H drive which was not a problem because the views were phenomenal.

We had the best stay. From the perfect clean, cozy cabin, to the lush forest surrounds to the relaxing sauna, it was better than the listing! Charlene and Logan were very attentive and helped ensure our trip was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Woody and Laurie were wonderful hosts thoughtful, responsive, and generous. They provided everything we needed, from firewood to clear directions for refilling water, and were always quick to respond if we had a question. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and arriving to find balloons and a sweet bow on the door was such a thoughtful touch that truly made us feel welcome. The cabin was a peaceful, serene escape after the joyful chaos of our wedding. We loved playing the many games available, relaxing on the private beach, and watching our dog soak up every moment. We can’t wait for the chance to return to this little slice of heaven.

This was a fantastic little cabin and property in Nelson. The cabin and surrounding land are absolutely beautiful, and it’s clear the owners/hosts have put a tremendous amount of love, thought, and hard work into creating a space where guests feel comfortable and cared for. There is a lot of extra amenities to enjoy, and the longer you stay, the more you notice the thoughtful touches throughout. Communication was excellent—any questions or requests were responded to promptly and helpfully. Stay and enjoy this little slice of goodness!

We really enjoyed staying in Joan's cabin, it is a beautiful property and there is a nice little hike to a waterfall from the cabin. She was very responsive and helpful, we would come here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and that we had what we needed. I appreciated the clear directions for how to get there, and all the written information in the binder left for guests on a table was helpful. Our two dogs liked having space to stretch out and there was lots of green area to sniff. One thing to note — there is a campground down the hill from the cabin (out of sight unless you look over the cliff) and the noise does travel up. However, if the windows are closed then it is fine, and it really wasn’t too bad at all even with the windows open. It was just unexpected so I thought I’d mention it.

Everything was amazing , the cabin , the place and the attention. Anita and Wes are great! They left some fresh eggs and sourdough for us and it was delicious! Wife said is that she would have liked it even more if the windows had curtains but I guess is just a matter of preference because for me it was perfect like that. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the deck with 2 deers visiting us , and felt really connected with the nature!

Perfect space to enjoy the town of Invermere. Minutes away from the downtown area, restaurants and beach.

Moria's cabin was spotlessly clean and had a million dollar view! We had a restful couple of days and appreciated how close it was to town. One thing to note is that you will hear the highway traffic but it was not busy overnight so it didn't interrupt our sleep at all. Also, there wasn't a beach when we visited (time of year perhaps?) where you could lay out a towel, however, there is a provincial park nearby that has a beautiful, sandy beach.

Serenity Lakeview Cabin suited our needs well, being peaceful, private and comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. The cabin has a rustic, funky feel which we enjoyed. Our host, Allan, was a great communicator and obviously cared a lot that our needs were met. We were happy to be there!

Overall, beautiful place and responsive host. The keycard to access the pools in Panorama Village was an awesome bonus. We stayed a week before the summer season opened for the village so we didn't get to do much but it looks like it would be a really cool place when it is open. The house had a few issues with the upstairs shower draining incredibly slow, the downstairs mattress was stained and there were a few sheets and towels that smelled like mildew. There was a ton of food and condiments left from previous guests, the firepit is great, and there are some perfect trees for hammocks. We had a good time and while there wasn't anything he could do about the cleanliness issues, we appreciated Marcels quick responses acknowledging them.

This is easily one of my top 5 Airbnb stays! The view is absolutely stunning, and I’d love to come back for an even longer visit. Just a heads-up—make sure to bring some food with you or stop at the grocery store in Nelson before heading up. An all-wheel drive vehicle is definitely a plus for getting there comfortably. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Sheldon’s place had everything you needed. Kitchen was fully equipped. Stove elements may need some work but worked once you found the right one. They had everything you needed. Was thankful for the AC which we didn’t think we would need. Place was peaceful/quaint and clean. Perfect for what we needed and good value. We were also looking for dog friendly.
