Original Historic Goldminers Stone Cottage located on the Gibbston River, bike and walking trail with easy access to local wineries. Featured in the latest edition of the NZ Lonely Planet guide - This award winning beautifully restored original Goldminers cottage dates back to 1874. Set in the heart of Gibbston Valley with 360 degree views of the Nevis Bluff, Mt Rosa and Waitiri station the cottage provides a peaceful and relaxing base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage interior is an open plan studio layout with a cosy sitting area at one end with a partly screened bedrrom area at the other end, with an adjacent separate bathroom. The bathroom is spacious with separate shower and bath. The bedroom area features a queen bed and you walk through to the lounge, dining and kitchenette area. The kitchen features a stove top and microwave combo oven. Fridge, kettle and toaster. The cottage is great for 2 guests, but can sleep 2 additional guests on the sofa bed in the sitting area, as this converts to a double bed and full linen is supplied. Cuddle up in front of the warm cosy fire, relax and unwind. Walking distance to 3 local wineries and walking trails to Nevis Bluff, Mt Rosa and Coal Pit Road. Situated directly on the new Gibbston River Trail you can bike to the Gibbston Tavern, Peregrine Winery, Gibbston Valley winery and AJ Hacket Bungy bridge. Then continue directly onto the Queenstown Trails to Arrowtown and Queenstown from the door. Easy access to the Gibbston Valley station new Rabbit Ridge bike trails recently opened. Gibbston is 10 minutes drive to Arrowtown and 20 minutes to Queenstown Airport. Cromwell and Bannockburn are 20mins drive. Wanaka is 40mins either via the Crown Range or by going through Cromwell. The cottage is easy access to all activities in and around Queenstown and very handy to the many ski fields in both Queenstown and Wanaka in the winter. Set in its own garden on our 6 acre property where we built a Strawbale house you are welcome to visit the horses, collect eggs from our chickens and pat our sheep. Help yourself to our seasonal produce from the garden. Bikes are available for use to explore the trails Firewood is supplied Outdoor furniture and a BBQ are provided for outdoor living *Linen supplied and included with rental. *Visitors to clean-up and leave the property as found.

Otherwise relax at The Cottage, using the full kitchen facilities and dine either inside or on the outdoor patio/ verandah. Close to 4 ski fields, Wanaka and Queenstown, great bike trails and New Zealand's largest water park.

The Orchard House is a modern, two bedroom cottage nestled in a private garden orchard with mature cherry, plum, peach, nectarine, apple and almond trees. Spectacular blossoms abound in spring, an abundance of fruit in summer, turning gold in autumn in homage to the 19th century mining past of this enchanting Central Otago enclave. Located in Bannockburn, a rich wine growing region with some of NZ's premier vineyards. 45 minutes to Queenstown or Wanaka and on the doorstep of historic Cromwell.

Relaxing Cottage in Roxburgh

This furnished cottage located 1.5 km from the centre of Roxburgh is ideally located for exploring the Central Otago region. It is an open plan cottage with very comfortable living space and a large lawn to enjoy the Otago sunshine and admire the views. The cottage is located opposite the local golf course and 2km/7minutes from the Clutha Gold Cycle Trail and Roxburgh Gorge Trail. The cottage is well positioned for enjoying the many outdoor activities, sight seeing and exploring Otago valley.

The cottage is positioned amongest a working orchard on sunny Ripponvale Road where stone fruit, grapes and of course cherries are abundant. Positioned to enjoy the sun with large timber decks ideal to take in the view and striking sunsets with a glass of local Pinot Noir. Located 5 mins from Cromwell, 40 mins from Wanaka and 45 minute drive to Queenstown and International Airport.

Cozy Cottage on Begg Lane

Unwind in our cozy guest cottage while enjoying the beauty of Central Otago. Be in awe of stunning Mount Pisa. A short stroll to Moorings restaurant and Bumblebee Apothecary cafe. 5 minutes walk and you are by Lake Dunstan and the infamous bike trail. Access to the 45th parallel is a short drive or 20-minute walk away. 7 minutes drive to Cromwell township, 35 minutes to Wanaka lakefront and 50 minutes to Queenstown airport. Our cottage is self-contained and on the same section as our home.

Historic Stone Cottage

This cottage is close to Old Cromwell Historic Precinct - a great place to potter around the cafes, Art galleries and little shops. Nearby are vineyards, wineries, orchards and skifields. Lake Dunstan is literally 3 minutes walk from your door. There are lots of walks in the area and you couldnt be closer to the new bike track to Clyde! Highlands is close by and you are 40 minutes from both Queenstown and Wanaka. This is a great place to base yourself to explore Central Otago.

Crown Range Historic Stables

Beautiful romantic Stone Stables for two in a rural location with fantastic views. This is a stand alone building and the only one of its type on the property. Very warm and cosy with everything you need. Just 7kms from the historic village of Arrowtown and 20 minutes from downtown Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. Central to 3 ski fields - Cardrona, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Get away from the crowds and experience a unique accommodation still close enough to everything you need.

Calvert Vineyard cottage

A stunning vineyard cottage on Felton Road with large bedroom / living area and ensuite bathroom including full size enamel bath. A deep, covered deck with table and chairs and sofa to soak in the scenery from sunrise to sunset and then take in the stunning night sky. Situated among and overlooking highly respected vineyards. Less than 15 mins walk to five wineries / tasting rooms, and immediately opposite a 1 - 2 hour walkway that meanders through an historic gold mining area.

Central drive to Queenstown and Wanaka area, Clyde and Alexandra. Golf course near by. Four Skifields nearby, Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Cardrona & Treble Cone less than 1 hour away. The newly opened Highlands Motorsports Park is 6 km away. The new cycle trail will be open at the end of 2020.

Sunny and warm Kawarau Cottage is located on our vineyard and orchard - a stunning riverfront location with expansive river and mountain views in the heart of the Central Otago wine region and the bike trail network. Fully fenced, private and within the grounds of our own home. Views, wineries, cycling, walking and relaxation - we welcome you to our beautiful part of the world. Direct access to the Kawarau River is steep and not recommended from the cottage.
