Holiday rentals with beach access in Central Otago

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Lots of space in the place. Quiet side of town. We had some lovely walks from the place. The scones Edgewater were amazing! Wanaka is a beautiful town.

We had a wonderful stay at Vick’s place! The house was exactly as described. The location was quiet, safe.

The place is close to Queenstown airport, restaurants and easily accessible. It's just few steps away from the famous Boatshed restaurant of the Queenstown. It's a good place to stay with family The host is responsive and cooperative. During the stay , had some issues with the sink The host fixed it immediately in the middle of Easter holiday. Will stay again.

Highly recommended. Great very beautiful and convenient location. Everything very smooth. Loved proximity to cafes and walking track too.

We had the most incredible stay at Victoria’s space! The smell from the fresh florals was such a unique and wonderful touch. The space was designed so well and the views of the mountains and the lake are just breath taking. It’s across the street from the most incredible restaurant that Victoria suggested (The Sherwood) and we ended up going back 2 nights in a row to try everything on the menu. The proximity from town is great, you can walk if you are feeling like some exercise or it’s a quick 5 min drive/ uber. We also enjoyed an afternoon swimming off the dock in the refreshing waters of the lake. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

We had a couple snafus on arrival (all of which were on my end) but I’ve never talked to a more responsive and helpful host. Any issue I had I was able to ask and she helped me figure it out (mostly because I had a hard time learning foreign appliances). This home reminded me a lot of my grandmothers house and I had many fond memories there. It truly felt like a home and not a borrowed location. Would definitely recommend this place to someone else. Thank you for letting us stay!

It's a nice home, very cozy and comfortable. The food and supermarket was just a 5 mins drive away and there is also a beautiful lake right down the house. It was a very nice place to rest and relax especially when you are travelling to visit Milford Sound.

We felt right at home in this lovely house. A lot of care and pride shows. We loved it and would stay again if we were ever to come back this way.

Our family had a wonderful time visiting Te Anau and Milford Sound. The house was a great place from which to base our day trips. The closeness to Lake Te Anau was a plus. We had beautiful vistas all day long. The walking path next to the lake was so inviting and fun for the kids. The house was comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 7. Don’t hesitate to book this Airbnb for your trip to Te Anau and Milford Sound.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hui Hui House! The home was exactly as described—super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the warm and inviting living room, the well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed, and the spacious, practical foyer that made settling in and coming/going so easy. The location is perfect—tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that feels peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short drive to town with tons of shops, and restaurants. Mark and Alicia are wonderful hosts—very friendly, incredibly communicative, and it's clear they put a lot of love and care into the Hui Hui House. We truly felt at home and would go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

Our favourite accommodation of our NZ trip, everything was excellent! I can't decide if my favourite feature was the super comfortable bed and linen, the heated bathroom floor or the sensor light for the bathroom! Carolyn was great with communication and very helpful. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here if visiting this area again.
