Gimmelwald itself is car free and world famous as an example of a traditional farming village, some of the buildings are 400 years old. The Pension is a place of peace. The traditional Spannort - Your family-home with common kitchen and Self Check-In is located right in the centre of Engelberg, close to the train station, free shuttle-bus to the lifts, sightseeing and shops. The house has been freshly renovated and all rooms have its own balcony, free WiFi, TV and Check-In by our own hotel-app. The perfectly equipped common kitchens, the separated children playroom and sitting area in the 1th floor are inviting all guest for free use.

Cubi Suite

The Cubi Suite features a 180 x 200 cm sized bed, a dining table (80 x 80 cm) and three upholstered chairs. A small lounge table and a floor lamp complement the ensemble. The suite has a wardrobe/suitcase rack with safe and a one-door cupboard. The small kitchen with two cookers, a fridge, washbasin and microwave is sufficient for preparing small meals. We do not provide oil or any spices (salt, pepper...) for cooking.
