Apartment holiday rentals in Centre Historique, Montpellier

Over the years, we've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs in the US, France, and Italy, so we know a great place when we find one. Isabelle's apartment in the heart of Montpellier is a great place; a place that made us feel so welcome, which started with Isabelle, a fantastic host that clearly wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. Once we settled in, we started to notice all the special touches throughout the apartment that separated it from many other Airbnbs without a personality. If we are ever back in Montpellier, we hope we'll be able to stay at Isabelle's again, as it gets our highest recommendations!

I really enjoyed my 4 week stay in Lëo’s grande appartement. Very attractive, spacious and full of historic character but also having all necessary mod cons. The only drawback was the five flights of steps to the third floor, especially with heavy luggage. I spent 3 days in Montpellier at JP's accommodation. Communication was super easy and everything went smoothly. The location is perfect for the train station and for the city center/old town. Ideal for a short trip to Montpellier and surroundings. Glad to come back :).

The kindest host. The brunches included in the price were superb. Very enjoyable stay. The apartment feels newer and better in reality than in the pictures.

Léa's apartment is beautiful! It is very complete, and exactly as in the pictures. The bed and bedding are perfect. The interior is really beautiful and everything has received attention. The location is very central and reasonably quiet for an apartment in the middle of the city center. It is close to the historic center with many shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is in a pedestrian area so we parked the car 5 minutes walk in a parking garage (cost: 25 euros per day). We did not meet Léa ourselves. She was always easily accessible and answered questions quickly. Check-in and check-out was accompanied by many photos and instructions. Although we understand it, we found it unpleasant and impersonal.

Charming and beautiful appartment, very well located!

What a fantastic place! Top floor of an apartment right in the heart of Montpellier with restaurants, bars, bakeries, stores - pretty much everything within minutes. Being on the top and with a good size balcony was really what made this place special. We had breakfast daily on the balcony and then a nightcap after our day’s adventures looking at the lights of the city. Having the bed up in the loft made the place feel even bigger. AC worked fine and communication with Chihab and Melissa was great. We’d definitely come back here and stay for a longer time.

What can I say .. stayed a month, and could have stayed a year. One of the best apartments we have booked. As the photos indicate the decor is both very beautiful and practical [comfortable living area, very well provisioned full kitchen, good bed and linen, clean and functional bathroom, plenty of storage space, separate TV loft). The apartment enjoys lots of light streaming in through the French doors onto a delightful little balcony. Air con and heating both excellent. Location perfect, central but quiet. Véro and David are generous and attentive hosts. Cannot recommend enough. Note: recycling bins for glass and paper/plastic are located nearby in Place Molière, and there are Biodéchets (brown bins) at various locations across Montpellier.

The apartment was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. Well appointed, large rooms with high ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. In the heart of the center city, many restaurants right outside the door and walkable to many more. While it is a busy street with the restaurants, it is quiet in the apartment thanks to new windows. As the description says, just know that the apartment is on the 2nd floor without elevator. It was not a problem for us.

Beautiful place in the heart of the old center, everything within walking distance and equipped with every comfort. Because there were no other guests, I was allowed to check out a little later and Herve carried my suitcase upstairs because I have a bad neck, superhost!

I’ve been to many Airbnb’s during my life and this is the best. It is charming and interesting, very well maintained and well located. Spotlessly clean with all the things you need in the kitchen to cook regularly. Patrick is an excellent communicator and makes you feel at home. Check in and check out is easy and I always felt safe in the neighborhood. Be aware the stairs are steep.

Loved our time at Kelly's place. First visit to Montpellier-- what a beautiful and lively city. Couldn't have asked for a better location to be part of the action, yet quiet in the evening. Apartment was very comfortable.

Anais and Jonathan's accommodation was nice for a short weekend, close to the beach and shops. The pool is shared but we enjoyed it when we returned from the beach there was no one. Great, I recommend Jonathan, he was accommodating with our slightly delayed departure schedule. Thank you 😉

Sublime to spend an exceptional moment the apartment is just beautiful decorated with taste and refined and clean and the little touches like the breakfast brioche. We highly recommend it .

Our stay was perfect. Cyprien always answered our questions, the accommodation is as in the photos and the cleanliness is perfect. The residence is very peaceful which was perfect for the weekend we spent there. You can go there without so much as a second thought
