We had a great time at Juliette's place. Domaine de la Loge is a peaceful, very quiet and relaxing place. We inaugurated its new cottage, perfect for a family of two adults and two children. The meals under the catalpa, in the company of the chickens, the bells of the goats, the trampoline for the children, Juliette's table d 'hôte, the different relaxation areas, shaded or not, and the very large swimming pool made this stay a more than pleasant moment. Extra point for the pool with a shallow space of at least one third of the pool allowed our children (7 and 3 years old) to fully enjoy the water. The area is very pretty and many places are to be discovered, inexpensive and without a mass of tourists. Thank you Juliette for a lovely vacation!

We loved our 2 days at Angelina and Florent's. Everything is there, the warm welcome, the beautiful and peaceful environment, the impeccable and superbly decorated accommodation. The many possibilities to have fun too: nearby hikes, petanque court, ping-pong table, darts and of course the Nordic bath. We'll go back for sure.

We were happy to find Audrey and Claude for a second rental. They are very friendly and supported and helped us with the approach of the death of a member of our family. They are very warm. Their cottage in the countryside is very pleasant and cool despite the hot weather we had. There's nothing missing. We'll be happy to go back! Recommended +++

Paul's place -- and Nadine's hospitality -- helped make this the very best trip of our family's life. We went for the Women's World Cup (it's about an hour's drive to Lyon/stadium, depending on traffic), and wanted a place for two families and four kids to play, play, play. This "French Farm" totally delivered -- the kids loved the animals and swam for hours each day, while the parents sipped wine and watched happily. We even found baby frogs alongside the onsite pond, and played ping pong until it got dark. It seemed that at any given moment, Nadine and/or Paul were suggesting new ideas, or coming up with new ways to enjoy the place, or providing unexpected hospitality. I wish we were still there. Rural, quaint, rustic -- and a total getaway from the rapid pace of everyday life. Thank you, Paul and Nadine!

Renovated Forezienne house full of charm

We stayed at Perrine's beautiful rustic home for a whole week & very much enjoyed our time in the French countryside. The house is spacious with a big garden, all necessary amenities and plenty of charm. Our kids very much enjoyed running around the garden, checking on the chickens, jumping in the pool or on the trampoline. It did make for a very peaceful and pleasant family holiday. Although we didn't meet Perinne, she was very considerate and proactively communicating with us via message. She left us with tons of useful information and was checking in regularly.
