We had a great time at Andrea's house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable to stay in. Andrea's explanations allow for a simple and self check-in. We had a pleasant time. I recommend it.

It’s our second stay at Patrice’s and just as good as we remember from two years ago. Impeccable and quiet, and everything worked. The hosts were available for both our arrival and departure, and were professional and friendly. We shall be delighted to stay there again in the future.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

Really a pleasure to stay at the castle. The place is green, shady, calm, relaxing. The small apartment is perfect for a couple, we felt very good there. Communication with the hosts was easy, calm, relaxed. And, the icing on the cake, it was even nice and warm! Given the weather at the beginning of spring, we seriously believe that our hosts have connections with the Ministry of the Sun. It is very likely that we will find ourselves again "châtelains" in the future...

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Quiet, well-decorated, clean accommodation, which has everything you need. Small outdoor area with table and chair. Parking possible in the private courtyard: the entire "plateau", the historic center of Angoulême, is within walking distance. Very good restaurants nearby. I would recommend it 100%.
