Holiday rentals with beach access in Chelem

Super clean and very spacious apartment! Has everything you need for a home away from home. Cute pool area and rooftop patio. Responsive host!! I had requested a hair dryer and they delivered it that same day!! Very much appreciated! Also a small convenience store across the street with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh juice everyday! Loved this stay while enjoying Progreso for the first time!

The apartment is very comfortable. It has everything you need to cook and feel at home. The views are unbelievable. Everything works great. The only thing missing from the place are the umbrellas in the pool and/or on the beach. It is recommended to build small palapas that can withstand winds.

Jill and Martin are an excellent hosts. The place is clean and comfortable, and Jill was always readily available to answer any questions I had about the area, or even order Uber for me to get around when I initially arrived because I had phone issues. This is a quiet place and ideal for someone who wants to walk on the beach and take a swim, especially early in the mornings, which I did quite often. Nothing is perfect, so my only recommendations are: this is a quiet town if you need the experience of a busy downtown you will need to take an Uber or Taxi to go to either Progresso or Merida Centro for a more lively nightlife. Also, it gets hot near the beach towns in this area, so to enhance your experience I would consult with the host on the AC usage time frame( if there is any). I enjoyed Jill, Martin, and a couple of other guests that were staying there during my visit...These are super friendly people to hang with by the pool while having a couple of cervezas!

We had an amazing stay in Moisés’ condo. The unit is beautifully furnished, comfy beds, well-outfitted kitchen, plenty of seating, towels, everything! The pool and patio area are incredible. Everything was spotlessly clean and the on-site attendant was helpful. We would highly recommend a stay in Moisés’ house for couples, families, or groups. Great beach within 100 yards, easy access to downtown restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Wonderful vacation spot!!

The place is perfect for a tranquil stay: the sea is a few steps away, and the sunsets are extraordinary. Jennifer was extremely helpful and responsive when we needed. Recommended for traveling with family, friends, and even couples. We will definitely go back!

We loved the Accommodation. I travel with my family and everything was super good, from the cleanliness, the location, the tranquility of the area. Amir was always friendly and responsive. It's definitely a place we'll go back to!!

I really liked that they were always looking out for us. We had a problem with a lock and they responded quickly and fixed it so that we had no problems. I would stay again whenever I visit Merida without a doubt. And it has everything to make you breakfast/lunch whatever you want. 10/10 🫶🏻

Very good service, very comfortable rooms, the family night we spent was the best, the pool is very clean, it is true that it had flowers from the cedar tree that shades the pool, but it is normal, there are normal mosquitoes, but you enjoy the stay in the house.

Good relaxed location in Chelem, about a 10-minute walk from the center of the village. The bungalow has basic kitchen equipment and is a pleasant size for two persons. A special highlight was the huge hammock, which can be hung in both the living room and bedroom.

Unique beautiful house with a stunning vaulted living room filled with sunlight and art! It was such a great space that we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated, lounging by the pool, and on the beach. A one of a kind experience!

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

Beautiful place, very quiet to rest; everything of excellent taste and quality. All services worked perfectly. I went for an open water competition and being able to rest so peacefully was the best. The beach is very close, you can see it when you enter the street. If you arrive at night, there is street lighting. To get to know the villages, you need transportation, but there is a market 5 minutes away that is really well-stocked, and a go-mart very close to there that sells very tasty hamburgers. It's a great place to visit.

The place is very nice, clean and functional, A/C in both rooms. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. It is just a few steps from the beach, although I personally did not like that beach because it was very small, the water almost reaches the buildings that are on the shore and that are in ruins. But the tourist area of beaches is 5 minutes away by car. Overall, very satisfied.

Incredible apartment, very nice and comfortable, just like in the photos. It has many amenities, the kitchen is very complete, it has too many utensils. In the bathroom, they leave shampoo and soap, have enough towels and an iron for clothes. The air conditioning works great, in general everything works well except for a TV that really did not affect our stay. On the balcony there is a super comfortable chair to spend the afternoon there, and you can see the pool. The pool is very comfortable, it has a height of approximately 1.2 meters. The beach is 1-2 minutes walk, however, (at least for me) there is an unpleasant smell in the entrance area and the area there is not very "adaptable" to be in the sea. In conclusion, I highly recommend it, it's worth it.

We stayed only two days in Mauricio’s place because it was only a short visit in Progreso. The condo is very nice, well furnished and supplied. The neighbours are nice and the place is quiet. There is a nice pool and a rooftop patio with a nice view, shaded area and a nice breeze. There is a convenience store nearby as well as a few nice restaurants with a varied offering of dishes. We recommend this place for a nice stay in Progreso.
