Ladysmith Comfort

Our approx 600 sq ft suite is new and is on the lower level of our home. We offer a private entrance, one private bedroom, a private bath( with a shower, toilet and sink/vanity), kitchenette, eating and relaxing areas, large tv, wifi and the use of a private patio, small lawn area and barbeque. No smoking or partying. Please be advised that we are not set up for infants or children so the suite is for adults only. We will interact with our guests only if they need us or at their invitation.

This brand new guest cottage is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are beautiful ocean views from the deck, large french doors and huge windows. The decor has a boutique cottage feel. The farmhouse sink and high end appliances make this cottage a great place to cook and enjoy. This cottage is a very private separate building from our home, with a private hot tub in your own courtyard. It is a completely self contained, equipped space with everything you will need for a great stay!

Steps to the Beach

We are located 10 mins. from town and also on the bus route. Situated across from Fernwood beach, walk to the pier and cafe. St. Mary's Lake is 2 min. drive around the corner. Sweet ocean view to Galiano. Enjoy the outdoor garden area, with patio table. Access to fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker. Coffee, tea and continental breakfast items. Sitting room and breakfast area. Please let me know at time of reservation if you are bringing a pet and tell me a bit about them.

Guests visiting between October and April may arrange to enjoy our wood-fired sauna. Lakeside walks are just down the road. Forest walks and ocean beaches are only a short drive. Our 1 bedroom ocean front suite is located in picturesque Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. Numerous stairs lead you to a self contained suite with the beach at your door step. Enjoy watching the sunrise, swimming, beach combing or bring your kayak or paddle board. We have long term (28 days minimum) discounted winter rates ($1600) per month plus $120 cleaning fee. This allows for 4 hours of cleaning.
