Such a perfect and private place to celebrate my 30th birthday with my loved ones. The home has a great layout for a girls trip and so many sweet spots to hang out on the porch. The location is also amazing for nature adventures!

We felt very fortunate to find this location. It was very relaxing. Claudia was extremely friendly and responsive. This was a very clean cabin, and the hot tub was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away to a quiet location.

The cabin was simply amazing and perfect. We enjoyed every minute of being there and will definitely be back and recommend to friends. Brianne was such an accomadating host. I'm so glad we found this place!

I had a beautiful time at this cabin for the weekend. It was very peaceful and was everything we needed. I will be visiting again and telling every one how exceptional William was as a host and about his 5 star cabin retreat.

This place was awesome we had a great time. We also enjoyed the hot tub, scenic views and the accommodations by the host. The fire pit and the s’mores provided by Liz and Steve was perfect for this setting. Thanks again Liz and Steve!

Beautiful location! My kids loved playing in the stream, cooking s’mores in the fire pit, hot tub and game room! Close to hiking, historic downtown Murphy and Andrews rail bike tours. We would definitely stay here again!

The view was absolutely breathtaking and the home and privacy were amazing

this place is amazing. would definitely stay again. a little tricky to find the private driveway but once you get there it's super. it's a hop and skip away from all the great roads including the Tail of the Dragon which is just so good.

Mr. Bob and Ms. Pat made our short little stay delightful. Ms. Pat graciously took care of our one minor, easily fixable issue as quickly as one could expect! It is comfy, clean, cozy, and the hosts are super pet friendly, but guests must be okay with stairs (not a negative whatsoever).

We have stayed before, and it was perfect. This time the floors weren't clean, and I am guessing it was the housekeeper that left behind a childs tablet and scooter laying on the deck, we left the tablet on top of the fridge with a note left on the fridge. I definitely recommend a safety gate at the top of the stairs, and better child proofing.

I loved this Airbnb! I will definitely book again next time I need a peaceful getaway! The owners literally thought of everything. From the moment you step on the property its sooo peaceful. Also LOVED the king bed. So comfortable. The shower was amazing.

The cabin was just as described and more! It was perfect for us and our dogs. Angie provided sheets and towels for the dogs, which was very thoughtful. We enjoyed slow mornings sitting on the porch, looking at the trees and listening to the birds. Afternoons were spent by the lake, walking trails, and wine tasting. There is so much to do in the area that it was a little overwhelming trying to decide what to do! It just means we have to go back! Angie was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. We appreciated her communication and hosting such a great place.

5 Stars – A Peaceful Cabin Retreat by the Creek We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin in Murphy, North Carolina. The peaceful, private setting was exactly what we were looking for. The highlight was the gorgeous creek that runs alongside the property—it was so relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to the water flowing by. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It felt like a true home away from home. Whether we were relaxing indoors or enjoying the fresh mountain air outside, we felt completely at peace. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape with the soothing sound of a creek just steps away, this cabin is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

Marie’s cabin is so cute, looks even better than the pictures. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Loved sitting outside on the porch and listening to nature. I imagine it would be even more lovely in the summer/fall! I recommend if you’re planning a trip in this area.

Very peaceful place to stay! The house was very clean and had great decorations, but we spent most of our time on the porch. The river view, with the swing and string lights made for a restful and peaceful getaway.

This was an ideal place to stay for our week-long visit to Murphy. This great home has all the amenities we needed and was extremely quiet. I especially liked that the home was not filled with decorative knick-knacks throughout the house that a lot of other hosts clutter their spaces with. Deer and hummingbirds visited daily. We used the grill and kitchen to cook almost every night we were there, but there are plenty of places to go out to eat or get take out. Everyone we encountered in town was welcoming and friendly. Hosts Angela and Chris were immediately available when we encountered an issue (something beyond their control) to rectify the issue quickly and fairly. It did not affect our stay whatsoever and we were thankful they were quick to respond to the issue. In short, an excellent stay.

Jesse and Mike's place was beautiful sitting on top of the mountain with views of both the sunrise and sunset. Inside the cabin is well laid out with a great updated kitchen, big living area and floor to ceiling windows to take in the view of Murphy, mountains, and the sunset. Our teens enjoyed playing vinyl on the record player while we played the many board and card games available. We enjoyed lots of hiking nearby, shopping, and relaxing out on the deck and firepit. A storm with heavy winds and lightening blew in our first night knocking the internet out - Jess and Mike were proactive to let us know it was out, someone was working on it, and it was back by mid-morning. Great cabin and host. We'll definitely be back.

We always enjoying spending time here. It is very peaceful with lots of wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle flying down the river as we were relaxing on the porch.

It was great! Super cute and enjoyed the fire pit. Enjoyed kayaking near by and cute local stores that had everything we needed for our stay. Even saw some deer run by us while we sat on the porch. The water definitely had a strong sulfur smell, used water bottles to brush our teeth but even with that would definitely love to come back.

This cabin is amazing quiet Creek is right there. You get to watch it all day from inside the house beautiful deer in the yard.

Our stay at Lookout Lodge was probably the most impressed and “at home” that I’ve felt in an AirBnB. Walking into the cabin we were immediately greeted with a binder welcoming us to the owners’ home with plenty of information on dining, activities, amenities, hiking trails, and more. The view from the porch was absolutely scenic, and there was even a light dusting of snow one evening that made for a beautiful view. As avid readers, the one rainy day we had during the trip was a perfect opportunity to cozy up next to the fireplace with a good book. The kitchen was well equipped with both drip and Keurig coffee, plus all of the cookware we could have needed. The cabin is in close proximity to Murphy, which was a cute little mountain town with a peaceful river walk and plenty of stores, restaurants, and a couple of breweries to visit during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Jeanne was very responsive. The cabin is new and amazing! It’s in a little “cabin” neighborhood but offers lots of privacy via the screened deck and backyard. Great place to stay. I highly recommend it!
