Apartment holiday rentals in Chinon

The flat and location were perfect for us. The hosts have made sure everything was available for a good stay. It was perfectly equipped, especially in the kitchen. The flat was very organised and very clean. The availability of a washing and dishwasher was a bonus. We’d come to France to visit family just 25 mins away from Chinon. Chinon itself was beautiful and had all the amenities for a self catering stay. On lazy nights we’d have dinner out and the square around the corner was perfect. Do try to find Fleur’s Creperie which was a delicious treat to and end of a meal. We would definitely be back!

Nice little accommodation, very well equipped and well decorated. It is located in the historic center, which allows you to walk around and enjoy good restaurants in the evening. Perfect for a long weekend. Very good instructions and good advice from our hosts. We'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in Chinon at Martine Monique's place. This apartment is very comfortable and above all very well located. In the heart of the city, close to beautiful sites to visit and yet on a quiet and peaceful street. The bedding is also very good. The little touches given by our host make the accommodation all the more friendly (water bottle, tea and coffee capsules...) It was a real pleasure to spend a few moments there.

We had a wonderful three weeks in this historic apartment right near the hub of Saumur. Walking to all the sites, restaurants, and amenities was very easy. Parking really was no problem either. The apartment is overall fantastic. Beautifully decorated and reasonably well-equipped. Our only suggestions would be to provide a larger (and softer) bed in the master. We are small humans( 5’2” and 5’10”), and even my feet dangled off the edge of the bed. We felt like the mattress was really hard too. We got used to it, but a nicer bed would be appreciated by future guests. As there has been a lot of attention to detail in creating this space, for longer stays, I would add more glassware (champagne flutes, in particular), storage containers, scissors, more mugs and flatware. Lastly, better lamps in the rooms for reading at night would be super. We would stay here again, no doubt. And we loved our time in Saumur. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us!

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Great accommodation to spend a few days with several people. Everyone has their own room and shower room, it's ideal. Right in the center of Chinon, close to everything. Really no complaints!

I really appreciated the location of the apartment in a quiet area and at the beginning of the pedestrian street of Chinon with all its advantages, the large public parking is located 2 minutes' walk away which is quite accessible and the path is pleasant through the pedestrian street or along the river. I had a pleasant stay, I recommend the restaurant "La table de Jeanne" as well as the Ayrole pastry shop which created the very fine wine pie. I stayed in Chinon to participate in an internship at the "Carré Potager à la Française" which I "advertise" because it deserves it and also made me discover the region which I find pleasant.

We had a great stay at Geoffrey and Aurélie's place. It is a real little corner of relaxation in the heart of the greenery, where calm reigns supreme – no annoying noise, just nature. The surrounding area is full of activities and visits, all easily accessible by car from the accommodation. But beyond the outings, it is also a place where you feel good, perfectly designed so that you have nothing to manage. Everything is functional, well organized and invites you to rest. The jacuzzi is a real gem. Intimate, beautifully integrated into the space, it brings a touch of relaxation that completely transforms the experience. It's not just a simple "plus", it's a real asset that makes all the difference. The accommodation itself is worth a visit: decorated with great taste, combining exposed beams, raw wood, warm fabrics and harmonies of soothing colors. It's beautiful, it's cozy, it's relaxing. In short, a place to recommend!

Thank you to Marie and Anthony for this stay in their very well-equipped Airbnb. The sauna, spa and steam room greatly contributed to making the stay enjoyable. The accommodation, located in a quiet area in the courtyard of a condominium, is well insulated from noise. Small downside regarding the temperature of the jacuzzi, which we did not know how to set well, but Anthony reacted very quickly and helped us perfectly! The hosts are really caring and available when needed. Do not hesitate to contact them: they will respond quickly and will be happy to help you 😊

awesome stay in a historic town. the property and experience couldnt be nicer. the pool was excellent and it feels wonderful to wake up and pick herbs for your morning eggs. highly recommend
