Scenic views, relaxing stay. Great fishing from the dock and stunning sunsets over the Sound. We had a great time watching dozens of hummingbirds at the feeders over morning coffee on the deck. Kids had plenty of yard to play in and had a blast with the Pokémon chess set and the bunk beds. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Our days were filled with playing in the lush backyard, reading on the deck, and exploring charming nearby towns. This was just the getaway we needed. We were unfamiliar with the area, but wanted a quiet reprieve from the city that was near water and Nora and Alan's Airbnb provided on all fronts. Nestled right on the Albemarle, we could read and lounge with the sound of the water and birds as our backdrop. Up for some fun, we made good use of the bikes and kayaks during our stay. Fifteen minutes from nearby towns allowed for exploration of cultural and historical sites. A bit further away allows for daytrips to the Outerbanks and nature reserves. Ideally located to get up to as much or as little as your heart desires.

It is a very quiet and restful place. Great for reading a book or studying. The water in back was rough and not really user friendly per se, but lovely to see. Great sunsets. Grocery store in Columbia was very nice. There are no beaches at all unless we missed them.

Family of 6 traveled from Texas for Grandsons graduation. We loved our stay at Nottoway Inn. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Views of River were so relaxing on deck. Loved gathering around fire and fishing from dock. Walmart was close and convenient. Posting hours for trash drop off would be helpful. Host was attentive and quick to answer questions. We would definitely like to come back.

Our stay was perfect for us. The open floor plan made it easy to clean up and go before checkout. The beds are really comfortable and we felt like we could really relax. We rented during the fall/winter but could really see this place being a perfect spot over the summer months!
