Avonview Cottage is a cosy place, warm in winter and cool in summer (with heatpump and HRV). There is a full kitchen, with large fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic cooktop (4 burners) and an oven. The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a small vanity. There’s also a front loading washing machine for you to use. The Avon River is very close by and the area is very quiet. A New World supermarket is only a 10 minute walk away and there are lots of other shops and restaurants around.

Lovely and quiet self contained cottage set back from the road. Very close to the No 27 bus stop, which will take you into the city. The garden is sheltered and sunny. The car port provides safe, off-street parking. The cottage is well equipped and spacious. We pride ourselves on keeping it sparkling clean. There is good Wifi and an office area with desk, chair and lamp. We cannot accommodate pets.

Annie and Chris are amazing hosts! Annie went out of her way to make us all feel at home and even to show us around the area. Centrally located, unbelievably quiet for the location, clean, comfortable beds, easy to keep warm, great kitchen facilities and even a heated toilet seat….all of this for a very fair price plus a washer/dryer and two bikes to use There was literally nothing not to like.Communication was perfect start to finish…as small business owners ourselves we value crisp communication and professionalism…. Had a great time staying here! This was our second time enjoying Lexia's beautiful place! It was well organised and everything is super close within 5 min drive to dinner places. We always love having Hagley park next door and our own parking spot within the premises. Would always look for this place whenever we are in Chch. Highly reccomend even if you don't have a car there is a dairy next to the place and a Korean BBQ that is within walking distance.

This was the perfect place for our long weekend stay in Christchurch, made extra special because we could bring our pooch. The house was clean, warm and very comfortable. We had a wonderful time at Jennifer’s place while we were in town to go to Mapu test kitchen. The view is spectacular and the house is really lovely and we felt right at home. There’s lots of lovely options for eating and drinking in Lyttelton but be prepared for the steep walk back up the hill - good for burning off those extra calories! Jennifer was a great host and super responsive.
