"Home in Madrid" is a lovely, elegant apartment in a small, elevator building with a beautiful lobby. The apartment is very well decorated, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, making cooking a pleasure. The apartment is very centrally located.....we walked everywhere! It is on a great street, filled with lovely boutiques and restaurants and La Duquesita, a superb bakery, is just across the street. It is very conveniently located for drivers as we were able to pull up in front of the building, Ricardo helped us with the luggage and a secure garage with reasonable rates was just up the street. We didn't need to use the car again until we checked out. In addition to helping us with our considerable luggage, Ricardo was a gracious, responsive host who was clearly focused on ensuring that we were having a good time.....and we did. Without hesitation and with pleasure, we would stay in this apartment again.

This is a great apartment centrally Located close to gran via, tons of great restaurants and even a starbucks right downstairs. The apartment is spacious and has a a lot of light in the living room. Very quiet and easy to sleep night or day. Highly recommend.

The apartment was great. Very clean, everything you need was in the apartment. Despite the fact that it is a busy center, it was very quiet, as all the windows overlook the courtyard. There are 2 air conditioners, the temperature is very comfortable. The location is excellent - the metro is literally a 2-minute walk away. There is a large grocery store and a food court within a 1-minute walk. The bus stop to the airport is a 10-minute walk away. In general, there was no need to use the metro during the entire trip - we were able to see the entire city center on foot.

This is a beautiful apartment, well decorated and in a wonderful location right next to Retiro Park. We stayed for a month and were sad to leave. It is a short walk to everything you might need, bakeries, food markets, laundry, pharmacies, shops, and, of course, this being Madrid, excellent restaurants and neighborhood bars. The metro was just a block away, and bus stops right around the corner. Gabi, is a wonderful host. Attentive to all our needs and inquiries. She and her partner not only remodeled this apartment with great detail to make it functional, but decorated it in great taste. They are architects! Thank-you, Gabi. Hope we can come back soon!

This is a great apartment to use as a home base if exploring Madrid. Was able to walk within 20 minutes to all the top destinations. Apartment is full of art, funky and cool, and well maintained. Has a great old-world charm. Neighborhood is lively and noisy, especially at night, so be prepared for that. Did not find it too distracting, though. Recommend highly.

We had a wonderful stay at Fridas! The place is super comfortable and clean. The place is great ample space and has everything you require to have a great stay, even location was super for needs. Eventhough it was a quick stay we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay, completely worth it! One of my better stays found!

Very convenient location and clean apartment. We walked from the apartment to all the key tourist spots. Perfect for 1st time visitors to Madrid. And since it is a topic of conversation on the reviews, we had no issue with hot water and all was smooth. Many thanks for the stay.

Cesar was a wonderful host - he communicated with us quickly and effectively. The flat was beautiful and right in the heart of Madrid, you cannot ask for a better location. Our very favourite was Le Coquette which is a blue bars just a short walk away. You cannot go wrong with this spot - thank you for the memories

El departamento muy limpio, con todo lo necesario para pasar un par de días en Madrid, en un lugar muy céntrico y de fácil acceso al Metro. Cumple con todo, lo único es que no tiene mucha luz natural y la ventana más grande colinda con una remodelación que están realizando. Lo recomiendo si tu objetivo es conocer la ciudad y tener un espacio agradable para descansar por las noches.

Had a great time visiting Cora’s place in Madrid! Super walkable, a wealth of amazing food nearby and things to do. Cora was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was beautifully decorated and very clean. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Madrid!

Central location, which made it easy to get around town! Helena was very helpful with checkin and even booked me a taxi to the airport. If traveling with young children, you’ll need a taxi with a car seat and they weren’t so easy to come by. I loved traveling through the city by foot & metro. I felt safe returning to the Airbnb and had a comfortable stay!

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable y recomendada. Marta es una anfitrión súper atenta y está localizable en todo momento por si necesitas cualquier cosa. El apartamento está a 5-10 minutos de gran, plaza España… está muy céntrico y perfectamente ubicado, y por las noches no se escuchaba ningún ruido.

Very stylish apartment, fabulous sun terrace which is a rare find in city centre Madrid. Cool neighbourhood, quirky shops, tapas restaurants. Really comfortable and homely apartment. Really friemdly communication. We loved it ❤️

Rafael è stato un vero padrone di casa. sempre cordiale nelle comunicazioni che avevano in maniera molto celere. l'appartamento èa 200 metri dalla stazione metro di Tirso de Molina da cui poi si può raggiungere qualsiasi punto della città. pulito ed ordinato.

Notre séjour dans l’appartement s’est très bien passé ! L’appartement est bien équipé, en demi sous sol ce qui permet de garder une certaine fraîcheur ! La literie est confortable et la salle de bain top (mention spéciale au jacuzzi après de longues balades !) La mini terrasse est appréciable ! Le quartier est calme tout en disposant de tout à quelques pas : supermarché, petits commerces, multiples d’arrêt de bus (la meilleure façon de se déplacer depuis l’appartement pour les sites plus touristiques !)

José fue muy amable con nosotros, así como Ana, la persona encargada de la limpieza. El departamento está muy bien ubicado, en un edificio casi nuevo. El departamento tiene todo lo que se necesita para una estancia corta.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would!! - Our hosts were responsive, thoughtful, kind and considerate with every touch point in the suite. So many GREAT recommendations too! - This Airbnb is one of the cutest I have had the pleasure to stay at - not just the adorable design elements, but the efficient layout, well appointed amenities and the general positive energy in the neighbourhood all contributed to a fabulous stay - The location cannot be more central - literally mere steps away from the hustle and bustle of Gran Via and beyond, but still tucked away enough that it's ALWAYS quiet and peaceful - No matter how hot it got outside (and it was HOT during our visit), the space somehow magically remained cool & comfortable! Even though it's fully equipped with AC in the living room and AC and a ceiling fan in the bedroom, at no point did we feel the need to turn them on. It's like a miracle! - Soooo many restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc in the immediate proximity GRACIAS!
