Rust en Vrede means rest and peace in Afrikaans which describes the experience of staying in these these two stone cottages. They are 20m apart and are ONLY offered as a pair, and have exclusive use of a rock pool. Each cottage has two 3/4 beds, bathroom, kitchenette and patio. The pair of cottages accommodate a MAX of 4 people in TOTAL in a private setting, with expansive views. These new cottages are in the same format as the other four on the farm which have received hundreds of 5* reviews.

SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Weavers Cottage on Waterfall Farm (sleeps 4)

Welcome to Weavers Cottage, set among the citrus overlooking the valley. A 12 minute walk takes you to a quiet waterfall and natural swimming spots. Guests spend their days hiking, swimming, bouldering, or simply enjoying the stillness. The patio is a peaceful place to unwind, and you will often see ponies & peacocks wandering past. Klein Pakhuis Farm is both a Cederberg Karoo farm and a nature conservancy. It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area. The farm is blessed with pure natural spring water; blue-sky days; clear starry nights and utter silence. Varied wildlife thrives under the conservancy ethos of the farm, including Verreaux's Eagle, Rheebok, Grysbok, Aardvark, Caracal, and the elusive Cape Leopard.

Neels Cottage in Rocklands

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.
